Curtis sironen

Was very impressed with his debut!! Think he deserves a chance at a starting spot after today's effort, looked strong and composed and done nothing wrong…however have a feeling sheens will continue to ease him into first grade!!

It's starting 13 or nothing for my money. We can't really afford to use-up a bench spot on a dedicated 5/8\. But he looks the goods. Let's give him a run.

Actually I'm thinking the main reason for Benji moving to half-back was to get him used to the position so he's got it down when Sirro comes in. It's early days but I think that was a smart move. They don't call him 'shifty' for nothing..

Fantastic debut.
Came on the park at a clutch time defending a drop out.
With the ball looked crisp & semmed like he had "time" to play. Involved himself well.
Congratulations Curtis. Much more of that in the years to come please!!!

Agree this is why they signed Curtis for 3 years

Very impressive debut.

Just imagine:

1\. Tedesco
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
9\. Farah

I would have:

1\. Tedesco
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
12\. Anasta
13\. Sironen

Moltz is too good to leave out imo. The whole field would be open to the tigers with this side.

he'll be a campese style player. im not sure if he should play first or second receiver though. seems a no nonsense player but has good hands as well. would love to see him get a decent kick to see where he is at. confident young man, won't hesitate to take a few blokes on.

Curtis's ankle tap on Thurston was a match winning effort..

Curtis let Thurston get on the outside of him and dived for the ankle tap. Thankfully he got lucky.

I really liked his debut, He looked both confident and comfortable. But lets not get carried away. Our halves are far from settled. Ive seen Curtis come up with many little errors in execution at Toyata Cup level, so we have to expect he will do the same in the NRL.

All im saying is i hope all of you who are heaping the praise today, show a little patienece when the youngster makes the odd mistake, because he will. but he showed enough to be given a chance.

Still think late 2013 and 2014 are his years.

Sheensy is releasing this song on Monday:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBwS66EBUcY

Where have all the good halves gone
and where are all the gods?
Where's the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss
and I turn
and I dream of what I need.
I need a SIRO. I'm holding out for a SIRO 'til the end of the night.
He's gotta be strong
and he's gotta be fast

Amongst all this praise and joy for Sirro, you have got to feel sorry for poor old Jacob Miller. Seems like he'll never get a game now.

It's a welcome to Sirro and a farewell to Miller

Good luck at another club mate.

Fantastic debut Siro!

Gives you the warm fuzzies thinking that we'll be seeing another Sironen running around in Tigers colours
