Curtis sironen

Every now and again you see a player come along and you know even after a few minutes that they're going to make it. Young siro is going to be good. He's going to be really good!

Amongst all this praise and joy for Sirro, you have got to feel sorry for poor old Jacob Miller. Seems like he'll never get a game now

I'm not sure where that leaves Miller however Miller has had a lot more chances than Sirro has had and he hasn't looked up to it yet.

Sirro looked likely straight away.

I'm quite confident he is ready to rumble. For someone to come into a game and look a natural like he did, scares me to think how good he will be. Now for the NYC wingers, bring them on. Well done cubs.

A few people see him ending up in the forwards eventually? Would that still be the case after today or are we grooming him for the 13?

Just remember all the wraps you have all given the kid. He will make errors, miss tackles, drop balls. He will learn, someone said it before, be patient with him. Be cool.

Not the right forum topic, that Rudolph kid looks like a gem

Mark my words. He won't play first grade again this year. I think we all know sheens well enough

Very impressive debut.

Just imagine:

1\. Tedesco
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
9\. Farah

I would have:

1\. Tedesco
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
12\. Anasta
13\. Sironen

Moltz is too good to leave out imo. The whole field would be open to the tigers with this side.

It's an interesting dilemma. Having signed Pettybourne and Anasta, surely there isn't room in the 2nd row for Sironen.

1\. Tedesco
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
9\. Farah
13\. Anasta

14\. Motlzen

That is one of the best attacking brains trusts' I"ve ever seen.

Jesus, can we get this quote tag problem fixed?

Usually I'm a bit of a skeptic about 'sons-of-legends'. They're all coaching and no natural ability. Mitchell Pearce is a perfect example. Mortimer was a flop, even Ray Warren's kid had a go, the rest have gone onto become unremarkable. They don't usually last but I have a good feeling about this one.

Outstanding debut! I thought he had a try first touch. Great ball skills, speed and tackles like his old man. He'll do! Tommy can come of the bench and do his thing.

Pearce & Mortimer have done what very few do….make first grade, Pearce repping.
Bit much to call them flops.

You want flops?

Lincoln Raudonikis
Dane Dorahy
Scott Fulton
Ben Anderson
Any son of Blockers

Compare Mortimer and Pearce to those guys and then ask yourself if they are flops
