Didn't get Rookie of the year.

Because Stefsno UTOIKAMANU deserved it..

It was very close in my opinion, I would have just had Laurie in front of him based on being at a higher level for most of the season. Though Stefs best was higher than Daine, just for a shorter period.

I think those of you who are upset at this need to put yourself in Daine's shoes. He grew up out there, and is good mates with many of the team. Of course he's going to be celebrating that they won. Putting the jersey on is not the smartest thing to do - but it doesn't deserve the vehement foaming at the mouth some of you are doing. Grow up.

Thanks but no thanks. I'll remain less than impressed. WT are paying his salary now. As I said earlier no problems with him having a private drink with his mates but a public celebration in Panthers jersey each is not a good look and disrespectful to WT fans and the club who is paying him.

I'd say he wasn't thinking at all. Poor form by him.

I think we are underestimating Dane. Perhaps word got out that the local drive through bottle shop was giving out free beer for anyone in a Panthers jersey and he was placing an order for himself and three mates. That is what I would like to believe anyway.

It goes against the majority but it's not that big of a deal. Guy supports a club, but he plays for another. I reckon that'd be the norm for most players. It was his debut jersey and he was fired up that his mates had won a GF.
