Happily give him 3yrs on decent money nothing crazy and preferably the 3rd year as a club option, good solid player who still goes good.

He would be so perfect for us, plays lock has ball skills works his ass off every game and is a leader plus an origin level player.
Doubt he joins us though ?
Can't give him good coin until @hobbo1 gives his 'plodder appraisal'. Otherwise we're in for another long 3-4 years.
He loves MCK. His plodder scale doesn’t have much credibility

I feel Adam Blair set a bad name (he failed here but always made the starting line ups at Warriors/Broncos).
Proctor, Tohu Harris, Ryan Hoffman (Warriors), Glasby, McLean have all been the best in their teams after leaving.
Outside of forwards: Hampton, Mann, Drinkwater, WIddop etc have all done well at their clubs too.
I'd love to buy someone from the Storm sytem, Finucane would be the top of the list as a leader.

Saw on 7 news he's staying at eels

Wow people downvoted you for this. This is the perfect player for us. As tough as they come, from a winning culture and has played SOO. Throw the cheque book at him. Funny how people always find reasons why we shouldn’t chase rep players like we don’t need them or something.

This absolutely reeks of our classic paying overs for an ageing bloke that can barely get on the park these days.
Big no from me.

In fairness to Madge and Hartigan when was the last player we have signed that has been overpaid ? They have been buying players at market value or under and once we lose Packer and Mbye I would not have a problem with them overpaying for a top line player to help attract others.

4 years is a lot for a player like Finucane at 29
That is my thoughts also,it is always high risk signing a veteran forward in arguably the toughest contact sport in the world.Caveat emptor
