What, a man almost single handedly carries his side from wooden spoon contention to the top 8, not to mention carries his state side in the first 2 games, but he isn't a deserving winner of the games best. Here's a question, if his 7 unbelievable games were scattered all over the season, would he still be an undeserving winner?
 
well done to tuiaki he deserves the winger award. felt for him seeing him on crutches, poor guy.

yes the awards are a joke u play well for a quarter of the season and u win dally m, dont get that.

no ones denying hayne hasnt been playing well but where was he first 20 games.

I agree, what a piece of s***. Farah finishes as the 4th best player in the comp and doesn't win his positional award.

thats the biggest joke of the whole night!

i know its not the best system to judge a player on but the "fantasy" leagues for the nrl benji was only second behind thurston in the halves, for total points accumulated for the year, it does take into consideration attack and defense and errors and so on, so its pretty pathetic that he lead or was top 3 in all the fantasy leagues but couldnt get short listed for 5/8th of the year.

Same as farah he was on the fox site over 200 points clear of his nearest rival (smith) how ennis got hooker of the year and was 6 points behind robbie in the dally M is an absolute joke

and one more thing, Jarrod hayne got 1 point for the dragons game last week, he was awful how could any respected journo give him 1 point, some one at channel 9 has an agenda

its officially lost all meaning, its a team sport but the awards is about the individual, and now way ennis should of got it nathan friend or issac degois should of got it before him.

And Idris getting ROTY is a joke, Crocker winterstein gordon mortimer tomane are all more deserving then him, he had 4-5 good weeks at the start of the year and has been a passenger in that bulldogs back line for most of the year

there was no better performer this year then jarrod croker out of the rookies, he played almost all games around 19 i think and didnt play a bad game that i saw, again the dally ms are a farce, and tonight proved that more then ever.

Kimmorly has been the standout 7 in the comp, he has brought the dogs from spooners to contenders yet polls 1 more vote then his team mate ennis?

I think the media needs to stop voting and the refs should do the voting like in the AFL Brownlow, to me that would be a lot fairer then the media picking their favs.

Crocker gave Hodges one of the biggest schoolings I have ever seen in the 56-0 game. Him, Dugan and Mortimer along with Kevin Gordon are a league above Idris.

Jamaal Idris. Youre kidding me right? He's a slob. Daniel Mortimer has so much more skill, ability and a footy mind. But you know, that doesnt have anything to do with it.

Thurston definitely didnt deserve it. He was lucky to get a Queensland jersey ahead of Prince.

Hannant I didnt pick but I agree with. Same with Morris, I forgot about him. He definitely shouldve been in Origin instead of Lyon but I think he was injured?

I should stop now otherwise I'm gonna breach the forum rules.

Oh yeah, congrats to Tuiaki! Very well deserved. Such a shame about the end of season injury as he was looking forward to playing for NZ so much. Keep up the motivation Tui, you'll get there again big man!

Wow listen to you all!!

I think everyone needs to take their tigers glasses off and realise that we had an ordinary year.
Some people expect our blokes to win two or three positional awards as well as get the same amount in the Aussie test side.

Reality check!!

Once the team plays good consistent football ( talking about a minimum of a top 4 finish here ), then i'll get upset if we miss out on rep jumpers and accolades.

Fair dinkum do you all really think that these rewards are warranted after the season we've just had?

Do i think Farah deserved Hooker of the year over Ennis?

Without a doubt in my mind. He outplayed him in both wests v dogs games, played 2 Origin games for NSW, won us a fair few of our games, and even finished 6 points clear on the Dally M tally.

Hell even Nathan Friend deserved it more than Ennis.
