I personally hope we go hard for him , Lawrence is off contract next year the cash that he is on should be more then enough to have a good crack at Klemmer. Would be awesome to have the blues front row so Woodsy start getting in his ear now couldnt hurt.

We don't need a good crack at him.the only way we'll get him is to drug him senseless and kidnap him

I agree Sabre, either a troll or a 6 year old…

i am a really big supporter have kept the website up for 2 years and have never deleted it. i have never been to a game where the tigers have won

We touched up on this thread earlier in the year.

There is alot of factors that will determine whether we have any hope of getting him, the obvious one is money $$$$.
A. Who he will be Coached by? is major factor in his decision…...I personally think a 14th -16th finish on the Ladder next year and Taylor will be Unemployed, so he will be watching with interest how things unfold.... if he even is slightly entertaining the thought of leaving the Dogs
B. What other Top line players ( Marquee) are we signing?
If he hasn't got any reinforcements in the forwards? He won't be as dynamic in our pack as apose to playing behind that Bulldogs pack.
He is a Representative player now and he will know that he needs to be in an established side to continue being picked for representative games.

I personally think we are no hope, there primary concern is Topping up Moses and Brooks Contract at the end of next year, when they haven't done nothing yet, but we love paying big dollars for players with POTENTIAL.

I think there is more chance of us calling up Skandalis again than David Klemmer putting on a Tigers jersey, but happy to be proven wrong.

Klemmer is off-contract 2016….Wests Tigers should definitely be making inquiries...

On who he is signing with ??

We wouldn't know what to do if we picked up a big name

I know I wouldn't

With the talk of signing Klemmer for next year, looks like the dogs might have gotten in early.

Although, it is a telegraph article…....

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/bulldogs/summer-buzz-bulldogs-to-announce-trio-of-bigname-signatures/news-story/43a4a67db673b004562be66eafe4cf9c

THE Bulldogs will begin 2016 buoyed by officially landing a trio of big-name signatures in the Belmore kennel with young guns Josh Jackson, **David Klemmer** and Moses Mbye all poised to ink long-term contracts.
>
NSW Origin forwards Jackson and Klemmer are expected to have extensions with the Bulldogs rubber-stamped at the club’s football Annual General Meeting at Canterbury Leagues club on February 14.
>
The Bulldogs and Blues young guns have attracted numerous offers from rival NRL clubs but the duo have never seriously contemplated leaving Canterbury-Bankstown, where coach Des Hasler enjoys strong support among his playing group.
>
The Bulldogs are also tipped to officially announce Mbye’s signature at the AGM, hopeful his pairing with No. 6 Josh Reynolds can take the club to a new level this season.
>
Melbourne Storm had made a serious approach to Mbye well before Christmas but he is believed to have been persuaded by the lure of continuing his football education under ex-champion playmaker Hasler.
>
The Bulldogs are expected to part company with Tony “T-Rex” Williams at the end of the year, following on from the departure of
>
Frank Pritchard at the end of last season.

Asking price would be high for Klemmer, the signing of these 3 players may result in others leaving (in addition to T-Rex) that Tigers could target.

We were never going to get Klemmer, but I don't think another high priced prop is what we need anyway. If we're going to go after a big money recruit I'd rather we look a little wider (i.e. backrow or centre).
