There's a captain coach position going in the bush at Tumbarumba!, refer to last Sunday's Tele!.

Have you been to Tumba Leroy, its up in the mountains, hard lifestyle and hard men and women….how do I know you ask? I used to do endurance riding on horse back, been up there more times than I care to remember...absolutely magnificent bushland and scenery,Paddys River Dam is sensational, even rode to Siuox City,it over looks the power stations and the water gets pumped into and out of the Dam..

If Collis goes there I hope he is prepared for freezing winters, they have even played football on the Tumbarumba showground in the snow...

f

Flip,I was a member of the ABCRA,which is the Australian Bushmans Campdraft and Rodeo Association, the Tumbarumba rodeo is APRA which is Australian Professional Rodeo Association..in other words I was a second division rodeo athlete,I used to team rope I was a header, which is the guy who catches the steer by the head…as far as I know the New Years Day rodeo is still going and your right I have been to many and have also had a great time..it's always good to have a beer with your counter parts, irrespective of which association you are a member of...realistically Flip any sort of events in the bush are fantastic,I even went to the man from Snowy River Festival at Corryong in Victoria when a couple of my mates competed....mate I have no regrets doing what I have done with horse sports as I love them,Rodeo,Endurance riding and taking Kids to gymkhanas is a lot of fun and hard work..but all worth while if you are competitive,I have buckles, ribbons and trophys and have enjoyed the RIDE....cheers mate....

Watching Collis come through I thought he was a star, in fact I made a bet he'd play for Australia.

Remember him scoring 5 tries in a SG Ball game (or possibly Flegg) and was blown away

Even when he played, I thought he was pretty good, very good at putting his winger away, I expected more.

As a second tier player he'd be fine. It is good to have some experienced players around your youngsters.

He was very highly rated even as far back in his school days. (Fairfield Pats boy). Everyone thought he would go on to be a top quality NRL player, for whatever reason it didn't happen.
