[One major screw up is that its missing one of our three colours….and dont point to the logo text

Just so wrong on so many counts

Geez i thought there would be heaps more interest in this concept of fans designing our jersey

I would, except I have the artistic ability of a potato. Anything I create would be an insult.

I'd love to have a go at designing a jersey … Just don't have any decent software! For those that are making them, what applications are you using?

All the designs so far in this thread are great and I would be happy with the club to adopt these designs. I like the idea of a traditional looking design. The simple designs look more classy imo.

If I had the ability to design it - It would be similar design to the 2013 Wests heritage jersey. The outer V though would be orange and the inner thinner V to stay in white.

It sounds like most fans are after the same thing which is good….olskool, double V,simple design not doing too much, and one black and one gold jersey.

Lets hope it comes to fruition, and we all buy one of these new badboys.

Club makes money and we all look dead sexy.

GAZF from league unlimited submitted this design into the comp (we aren't the only ones to notice our jerseys have been meh over the years, this time hopefully we can count on many across rugby league to help us get something decent even if they aren't supporters).

He's added some extra bits in there too like a redesigned logo, which is a discussion best left for another time (although knowing there are logos that are similar to ours around the world doesn't sit too easy on me).

I like the Magpie above the sleeve sponsor, think that works well. Also like the double bands below the sleeve sponsor.

I really think that this hybrid double v should become our future identity, it keeps a classic rugby league design feature and combines elements of the unique magpies and balmain double v's (a common trait that carried into the early jerseys),

The black base and double gold v's looks great.

The black tiger print on black isn't too bad (provided the contrast is minute).

Obviously the collar would be t-short like and personally i'd add a bit more white by making the t-shirt circle collar white and the sleeve bands white too.

Generally this is the way we should go. Solid background colour, double v of another colour, no side panels.

It is a nice design but I have to agree with ink, no white on the jersey means it isn't a Wests Tigers jersey. Yes the shorts are white but no fans wear the shorts with the jersey so in public people would only see a black and orange jersey, so to me is is just an inverted Balmain jersey with very minor Magpies elements (magpie on the sleeve, logo elements) thrown in in an attempt to appease the fans. As with the ones I did and other have also done change one of the V's to white and it is much better.

Also don't get me started on his version of the logo, I know it has the text "Wests" above the tiger but the whole thing aesthetically screams Balmain over Western Suburbs.

Thanks for the sentiments, Simon, but it would take much more than a nice new jersey for me to look dead sexy

I must say I'm very impressed with the quality so far, especially by Creagus. I'd be more than happy to strut around Deepwater Plaza or Erina Fair in one of those!

Changing the two small orange strips on the sleeve to white could look good

Yeah thats all you need to do to this jersey though.
But I don't think they'd change the logo, but love that jersey change the sleeve stripes to white then done.

I really liked Pacey's and Galah's design. Simple yet looks great.

Also the above design is also a great idea - except I don't like the stripy socks.

As for the whole "Classic V" thing, I don't think it's necessary for us to HAVE to keep it to maintain our heritage. We are JV as WESTS TIGERS. We are a new brand, why not create a new image? There's way too much argument over the 2 ventures.
(Although, that new logo looks WAY better than ours now, it seems to be a global icon - our logo now. I see it around where I live for local clubs who have no affiliation with the Wests Tigers)

Apparently the Club don't actually own the logo, its owned by the NRL which is why the NRL take a major cut out of anything with a Wests Tigers Logo on it.

So very much doubt there will be any change in Logo.

i bet the "fans" vote in something like this:

![](http://photos.stade.fr/d/26975-2/080926_beauxis.jpg)

it will be designed by Deserie from Whoop Whoop, a 37 year old mother or two, a Wests Tigers Member who has a fantastic story to tell for the front page of the official site.

"It represents the new direction Wests Tigers are heading and encompasses our fan's wishes for a state-of-the-art jersey design that pleases the eye" said WT CEO Stephen Humphries.

The jersey will go on sale for $249.95 and be available in L, XL and XXXXXXXXXL

I'd go for a jersey designed by Hypercolour, so you know you can tell the passengers from the ones who dig in an have a go.
