Yes, but for no more than $400k - $450k max, at which point he is a good signing assuming his form is still good.

I think what he has shown the last few games, it is certainly worth consideration, but other clubs would have noticed and I don't think he would need take such a large pay cut? He can stay here next year on full rate and leave?

Also, I think the club has taken steps to replace him, so don't think they would interested either, but you never know?

He is our highest paid player at reportedly 900k+.There is no way i could see him playing for half of his salary next year and the year after(no gain in it for him).Give him the flick if we can if not let him see out his contract with no extension

Major problem keeping him is we probably lose Doueihi...

He’s nowhere as horrible as Milford. I don’t think the Broncos are offering him a contract at all. Given the way he’s played the last few weeks, if he keeps it up, I can see a contract on the table for 2023. Assuming he’s here next year.

The Top Paid MUST be the TOP Performers.

It can never be a must because players get injured. It should though be a goal. The last thing we want to do though is make our team perform worse in order to meet this criteria.


We Should not dismiss remuneration when judging a players ***value on the field*** and to the club

Serious question, ***why***?

I understand the impact of his salary on the make up of the squad, but after that what significance does it have to his selection and on field value?

I think it would play on the minds of players for one thing. I think it weighed us down (impacted team harmony and cohesion, confidence, trust in each other) when we had players like Packer, Reynolds, McQueen in reserve grade collecting decent money for not much return.

Mbye has been a absolute master stroke by Madge, Brooks is playing with such confidence & Luke is a shy kid & needs his confidence up and Mbye is a perfect foil.
Mbye's cut out passes are fantastic, I am sure Jimmy will catch them all form now on. His defence and link play is very affective, he has great ball skills, short kicking game & he is wasted at hooker
Me, I think keep him and sign him up again if we can.
We are building a strong team
