Dont blame Luani & Lawrence

Siro has played just a handful of games in 12 months. He still ran for more metres than any back rower on either team. He did pretty well playing in the halves in first grade at 18 too. No football ability? Come on!

Lawrence and Richards collectively made nearly as many errors as the whole panthers team today.

I can cop Luani, he's just a stop gap for Farah. Its Lawrence who the problem is with. As i said in the live game thread, I respect and acknowledge what Lawrence has been through, and realize he wasn't born the player he is today, but the way his career is going, he's going to always be remembered as a hack, not for scoring runaway tries against the Broncos and leaving Slater for dead. Time for the club to sit down with him at the end of the yr and see if they can come to some arrangement where he can get a contract in England. He'd still get good money over there. His reputation is going down the toilet. You can't defend him anymore, its just about impossible.

I agree. Past reputations are not always what people remember a person for, i.e. Rolf Harris.

I get that Lawrence was bad but wasn't Richards worse ?

Maybe I'm seeing it wrong but Richards was really bad out there,

Lawrence doesn't slide in defence. Creating space on the outside. Can't blame his hip for that. It's just bad decisions.

Sirro runs just like his dad. We just need him to get a little angrier and maybe realise how big he is

Interested to see the bench next week with farah and woods back and Austin in the run on side. Gavet is back (hope) and lodge/halatau went ok. 4 big boppers is what we need IMHO

he looked good in the first half but havent seen him at all in the 2nd
i like that hes looking to offload hes just gotta find the right time but hes only young and will make mistakes
this team isnt ready and is a work in progress but the future isnt looking to bad with some of these kids coming through
we need to get rid of thompson, blair, lawrence

So CS is not playing well, (not reading plays, stupid passes, going missing, dropping off tackles.) because he's young and hasn't played much…ok.

Stupid reasoning by people in love with his last name. He is average at best now...he will be average at best this time next year...luckily for him his playing for a team that loves keeping average players on the books.

Potters plodders, the three Ls were shocking and you know Potter will keep picking them in front of other options. Most teams would have tested Penrith big time today, but we were like a park team and the Panthers went through the motions and won in a canter.

Their is effort, but our skill levels must rank bottom of the NRL

He missed 2 tackles. Get a grip. There were plenty of worse players out there today. Very strange that you single out Siro.

Thats probably a fair call, though Pat had an out of character performance, where as Chris had a fairly stock game consistant with his last few outings…

He's overhyped, doesn't matter how you sugarcoat his form. People are saying he's a lay down to be selected for Australia one day. A little over the top wouldn't you say?

There was some very dumb and disappointing plays out there today. Effort was fine. But the performance was fairly brainless.

Listen the 3 L's tried their best.
What more else could we ask from them but their best.
Don't be hard on them.

I've seen more death riding than hype lately. He's a long way from the finished product.

Big difference people saying he'll play for Australia ONE DAY, to saying he should be there now. I don't hear anyone saying the later.

Hard to judge his form when he's played a couple of games after a 3 month injury. His fluency and timing is off for sure, but he needs some game time. I'm not willing to bag him just because we had a loss.

Maybe they gave their best but Potter did not do any favours for anybody but Pebrith by selecting three players with very limited ability.

I do blame them. I also want to add a S.

Curtis is a myth. Drop his oldmans name and all you have is another big kid with little footballing ability. I just don't see the love this guy gets.

Are you freakin kidding me? He was a beast in the first 20 with the ball.

The centres were statues today, Luani is not fast enough between the ears, overall the result was nowhere near as bad as I expected
The Panthers were close to full strength, us missing farah, woods, Simona, tedesco, not too bad
