Don't love the change at fullback

Very lucky that kick came off for Rowdy to score when we had a 4 on 3 and he should've let the ball sing.

Will keep his spot next week, but really needs to keep his eyes up.

Yeah nah.
Offers nothing.

He was the player who kicked for Lawrence's try. Don't knock him. I like his team attitude and on field talk which is a bit similar to Reynolds.

The only good thing he did the whole game.
Definitely not a first grader.

I thought he added some good touches, including a few useful chimes into the back line. However, he still doesn't look as though he's back to full fitness to me. Either that or he doesn't have full confidence in his running game. I want to see his pace return to that of his 2016 Warriors days…..

His kick for Lawrence try was luck, they had an easier option quick passes for the overlap. Kick isn't worth raving about  Good effort by Lawrence

Okay I think this is too harsh on Lolohea, he’s a very instinctive player. I’m certain that if we had Thompson at fullback we wouldn’t have scored any tries. The try for nofo, if we had Thompson at the back wouldn’t not have passed would have run inside. The try for Lawrence same thing go don’t think Thompson would have kicked for him.

Yes he dropped a ball yes he let the ball role dead But he’s made up for it by setting up two of our three tries.

No disrespect to Thompson he’s a great player and a great winger imo but I don’t think he’s the player we need at fullback and I think tui deserves another crack next week.

Since the thread is gone, I'll repeat myself here.

Even some of his bad plays lead to points, unless we replace him with another fullback who an play as a second 5/8 like Mbye then this is our best lineup 1-5

I'd have JR at 6 as Tui and Benji can both overplay, although Benji played much better today.

I feel that is very negative..

his work in the lead up to Nofoaluma's TRY was good..

Negative comment for a negative performance.

Mbye is way better

I agree with that too…regarding Mbye over Lolohea..

But to say Lolohea offers nothing is negative..I think he is more a 5/8th than a Fullback but we have a few more of them ATM

I look at it another way. It was a very good effort for Lolahea to chime in from fullback and create the extra man. When he kicked towards the line the defence was concentrating on the overlap and the kick surprised them. Anyway it was the kick and Lawrence's great effort that won Tigers the game.

Your thread was merged into this one mate as it's a thread already on Tui. Your post is in it.

Fair enough

Thanks mate, I didn't realise.

Lawrence's heroics saved him, the kick was, the worst, about 0.0001% option. If it wasn't for Lawrence that would be change of momentum

Looks like he thinks he's a 5/8 too…
Hes been mismanaged his whole career.
Just doesn't seem to fit into the team.
