Drugs were rife among players: Mundine

No one is providing any solid evidence so far to counter what he's saying. Just the fact they don't like the man.
 
I'm sure if the cast of home and away or neighbours were drug tested we'd find the same , if it's for personal use I don't think it's that bad but as athletes these guys should know the damage it does to their body .

I've been on this forum long enough to know that people are very quick to dismiss claims made by people they don't like, be it coaches, players or journos. If somebody else had made this comment like a Johns or Lockyer, people would probably be a lot more receptive.
 
Maybe AHX. But the smoke is there from that period with players being busted. Only 3 caught, but how many were not caught?
 
Well normally I can't stand a bar of Mundine but he seemed to come across pretty well in the footage I sure. Like he was thinking carefully before he spoke and was mindful about how serious the matter was. I'm used to him just being arrogant and speaking to be a rise out of people.
 
GNR i'am not disputing what he said. It's the timing of it. Like Happy mentioned, why say anything about it after the fact, when he never bothered to say anything back then. I'ts useless information and very self serving.
 
I'm not going to dispute the timing of it, but it doesn't mean he's bs'ing.

You can make the same argument for asking why so many women waited only for others to come out to accuse Bill Cosby of assault, or why a bunch of women only waited till Tiger Woods got busted for cheating on his wife to come out and say they also slept with him.
