Dugan megathread

Do you know Worm on the Greenhouse? He has posted this…

"Relax.. We have Massey..

All is swell.. He betterer anyways.."

He may be a no-body, just putting it out there.

Yeah, he's not being serious. His favourite player, David Milne will be released so he's just acting bitter on the matter.

Someone else I know also mentioned Massey this morning saying he is a potential great without the Furner relationship problems.

Don;t you love it when a good rumour catches fire rather than all the bad ones that have been going around for the last however long.

If they've been looking at this for a while it certainly puts McKinnons suddenly announced departure into perspective.

Regardless of personal opinion, I would say its pretty clear Mullaney isnt in Tim Sheens plans at the Wests Tigers… I'd be very suprised if he is contracted past this year, so maybe he can go and play for the Magpies in 2012?

I'm inclined to agree. Tedesco on the other hand is a different matter given he's only 17.

It will be interesting.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if they look at Dugan as a short term signing until Tedesco is ready, and if he doesn't pan out then they could always lock Dugan in long term.

A lot of really good fullbacks commenced their FG careers on the wing before shifting back. (inc Mini, Boyd, Slater?) What a bonus to have Dugan at 1 and young Tedesco also in the side and filling in at fullback when required. (which would be regularly given Dugan's run of injuries)

Very much doubt they'd sign an Origin fullback as a stop gap solution until a 17 yr old with no FG experience is ready.Doesn't make alot of sense considerring Dugan is only 22 or 23 and will be around a while.I just hope Tedesco doesn't turn into another Mullaney and is nothing but hype

Slater started in the centres. If your conecding already that Tedesco will be required at fullback regularly then you should think Dugan would be waste of money if he's gonna spend that much time on the sidelines

If Tim and Stephen can procure the signatures of Blair & Dugan, it will be the masterstroke of all masterstrokes.

Tim only promised one marquee signing per year (when the cap allows) and next year we are looking at 2.
It just keeps getting better and better …..... the unending success story continues .........

Tedesco has been in rep teams since he was 14\. He has represented NSW in Athletics. He has represented NSW in Rugby Union and is a League Australian schoolboy.
I wish people would stop comparing him to Mullaney.
Mullaney has had a few lucky breaks he was lucky that Cowdi Towney shot himself in the foot and he got his chance. But It looks like that luck has run out.

I agree Teddy… Always enjoyed watching young Jake in the 20's, but I dont see any similarities between the 2 as potential NRL Fullbacks.

While Jake had some strong points, I feel this Tedesco has a better all-round game and knows how to position himself well in defence and attack.

I hope we all dont put too much pressure on this young bloke and allow him to apply/learn his trade in the 20's for the remainder of this year and hopefully win the GF.

RUMOUR has it that Dugan is changing clubs…. All but confirmed except we r not getting him, we r getting the man he is replacing!
