@Tigerdale said:i just sent a text to a mate of mine who works for the raiders. he said he'll find out today if there is any truth to the rumour
@Raider_Joey said:Sorry for pointing out the obvious, but I cannot see Raiders management wanting to release our best player a year before his contract is up.
From what I have heard, Dugan is very happy in Canberra and is mates with all the younger lads eg. Massey, Ferguson, Croker, Thompson, Fensom and Vidot. He harbours ambitions to win a title with these players.

Ay Joey, I am also sorry to point out the obvious…. BUT,
Money Talks....
AND... Blake Ferguson also left the Sharks to win a premiership, How's that looking now?
He would've been better off where he was.
I don't mind your Raiders, I live here and go to all the home games (When the Tiges aren't on)
But if Doogs wants to win a GF... Which I guarentee he does, He has more chance doing it from West Side.
The poor old Raiders aren't going far, And I can't see that changing anytime soon.... And the coach simply doesn't like him!!
ps: We also have the Australian Coach...... BOOM!!
@Rummo said:It'd be foolish to write us off, when we are yet to have Campese, Williams, Dugan, Ferguson, plus our forward pack on the field at the same time. Those are the reason why we were billed to make top 4 this season.
That angle won't get much traction here brother, you're talking ~4 combined rep games above versus the ~40-50 rep games of Tuqiri, Ellis and Lawrence who've been out at various stages.
@clontarfkid said:I think we may have discovered by now that buying 30 something outside backs or fb's with long injury histories isnt a smart idea..altho with Sheens u never know

Who cares about rep games?
All that matters, is the importance of the players to our team. Dugan, Campese, Shillington and Learoyd-Lahrs have all struggled to string any games together and they are instrumental to our side. The former three will be out for the game this weekend.
When you get them together with the likes of Ferguson, Croker, Vidot, Williams, Fensom, Thompson and Papalii, then we can return to this topic.
The bottom line is, he'd be foolish to leave when we haven't had a chance to play our strongest possible this season. I think Dugan sees this, hence why I will be shocked if he did leave. As well as a number of other reasons.

Tigers have had to deal with problems too.
Our left side is our most potent form of attack and Probably the best in the comp.
Benji, Ellis, Lawrence, Tuqiri.
Tuqiri has missed 11 games this year
Lawrence has missed 12 games this year
Ellis has missed 7 games this year
Benji has missed 1 game this year
in 6 games we have had 3/4 out. Rounds 4,5,8,10,11,12
in 5 games we have had 2/4 out. Rounds 6,7,14,15,16
in 3 games we have had 2/4 out. Rounds 2,3,13
So in 11/15 games so far this season we have been missing at least half of main contributers in attack.
Yet we still manage to be hovering around the middle of the pack.
