Dwyer

He is still a baby, he has got a lot of improvement left in him, just needs to play wider of the ruck like he did tonight. His inside line he runs is another great threat in attack for Marshall to use.

Great to see him go straight past Wesser to score his first try. A very skillful player with plenty of speed.

Great to see some more of that potential. Hope he keeps it up. He made a good break against Warriors as well. Looks like a handful for other defenses when he is on his game

WHY WAS HE LOOKING AT THE CAMERA TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM FITTLER?

I was in stitches.

Hmmm, could it have been some 'advice' from Gibbs just before the interview???

Lucky he didn't take advice from Heighno ala 2005

He ran great lines last night, alot like Gareth Elis does week in and week out.

Apart from a few drop balls he has in his game he has played alright for us. Just needs to get more involved like he did last night, and you can see the results.

I think he was doing the post match wrap up last night the way he was starring down the barrel of the camera!! He'll be better for the run when he wins his next MOM!!!!

I love the calls for the humble pie. Yes he scored two tries, yes he made a few breaks, but he had a few misses in defence and a couple of loose carries. Don't forget Benji had a hand in both those tries.

His first half was very ordinary and he came good in the second forty. He has a long way to go in terms of consistency.

If he plays like that for the rest of the year I'll be ecstatic, but you can ill afford that sort of inconsistency at the business end of the year.

Played ok. Still lots of improvement in his overall game which is, in itself, a good thing

He has MUCH better last night than last week - but last week was disgraceful - so lets just keep that in context.

If he plays like that every week, I will be satisfied.

Poor heighno, wants to play Origin real bad but all these young bucks with size and speed keep popping up. Heighno gives 100% every game but won't make the NSW team based purely on our selectors mind set. The queenslanders would pick him a heartbeat, look at their record of gilmeisters, Dallas Johnson et al. The bloody willing workers who snuff out everything in defense which leaves plenty in the tank for the runners. Dwyer will be looked at before heighno unfortunately because of his physique.

felt good for him, because he has struggled this year.
we are all looking for that consistent line from him that shows he is a dependable backrower week to week in the nrl.
that is going to come but it will take time.
for a premiership caliber team i think his spot is the bench at this stage of his career.

hope he backs up with a solid game next week.

Pretty tough school this forum. Words like "OK", "better" and "came good" to describe a terrific performance.

He was pretty good still dropped a ball when a try was a possibility when the bomb came bouncing back to Benji and he dropped an inside ball which if he had caught he probably would of crashed over . He will get more wraps when he puts together some back to back performances .

Was very good the other night, showed exactly what he's capable of doing. Needs to step up again this week, particuly with KG possibly out and Ellis still a little under done

I actually really wanted him to draw and pass with 2 in support, but can't be too critical cos he scored :righton:

An improved game from Simon. That is all you can ask from the young guys like him and Moltz.

agree 100%

my personal favourite "if he plays like that every week I'll be satisfied"

if he plays like that every week he'll be in the hall of fame, 3 line breaks, 2 tries 35 tackles, No one can do that every week, and if they do, I'll be more than satisfied.

he has played 20 NRL games, still learning and we asking him to play 80 minutes, prob before he is ready, than he comes out and brains it, and people are saying he was ok, or a bit better than disgraceful or whatever that bloke said

forwards dont come into the NRL and dominate, it takes time, he has been developing nicely i reckon.

3 dropped balls that a better opposition may have put us to the sword because of, for me at least, makes his performance average. He ran some very good lines and made some tough tackles but also made some poor reads and poor errors.

I wondered how on earth he was named MOM and than I remembered that of the four voters in the 9 box only one has a real clue.

Cannot wait until he can go back to learning his trade from the bench and earn all of the praise he will receivein his hopefully long and distinguished NRL career with WT
