Why would we give up one of our starting props who's playing well, for an outside back? Backs are useless without go forward. Losing Packer or ET are no loss as they're not playing.

Oh for the days when players saw out their contracts without all this club swapping distraction. Pretty sure they would all be playing alot better and fans could focus on footy instead of rumours. Its destroying the fabric of the game which essentially begins with loyalty.

@Geo i'm a fan of DWZ but i agree with you. Our pack will be undoubtedly weakened if Mats goes. Unless Madge has another good front rower lined up i'm a little skeptical now of this swap.

Speaking of props, does anyone know the official situation re Musgrove? Has been found guilty of anything? Is the NRL refusing to register his contract until his court case? So many questions .... so little information!

Dont know if im overly hot on the prospect of losing Mats for DWZ, Packer & or ET i could have reasoned with. I guess Madge has his reasons and he is the one who trains these blokes day in day out. Still hopeful we can shift Packer maybe to the dragqueens......

If he is exonerated I would love to see the RLPA take action against the NRL on behalf of him, Walker & the next cab off the rank.

I like Mats too but a 30 yr old prop with dodgy knees who makes 75 meters a gane and has 1 offload and 1 tackle break for the whole year vs the a 23 yr old who has captained NZ in thier most recent test and can play centre, wing and fullback is a bloody good swap for us .
