Finally get rid of that ridiculous home game against Parra at bankwest. Prefer if it was at one of our other home grounds but will take this.

Great decision

I hate ANZ lol

Me too but would play that game anywhere but BankWest. Understandably it needs to be played at a ground under the same management so choices were limited in that regard.

I have a 4 game pass for the games at BankWest will they transfer to ANZ for that Easter Monday game, or do I need to purchase another ticket for that game.

The release mentioned you could redeem a ticket for nix

By the sounds of it you will be able to redeem a ticket.

Honestly I doubt this was done because Bankwest is eels home ground - probably was done so they can fit more people into the joint. The Easter Monday game sells out every year

I hate ANZ as well but this game makes too much sense. There is literally almost a million people walking out of the Easter Show right next door. Should be a massive crowd assuming massive crowds are allowed by then.

Apart from the 'home' ground advantage being taken back from Parramatta, just love the opportunity that day at the precinct provides for our family.

Reserve a spot in Parking 1, walk down to the showground to enjoy a few hours in the pavilions before getting a readmission stamp and heading to our seats to watch some footy amongst the atmosphere of a much larger than normal crowd.

After the game we generally head back down for a few rides under the bright lights in the evening, having the car with some goodies a change of clothes within a short stroll all day.

I was there a few years ago and one of our Hungarian friends that I was talking about in the Coronavirus threads was here and wanted to see a game. We took her to that game and it was a great atmosphere with a big crowd and we pumped Parra so everyone was happy. It was also the first game my missus had seen live.

A couple of weeks later I took the missus to Leichhardt for the proper "atmosphere".

The Tigers lead the Easter Monday clash 3-2 at ANZ. It’s no wonder Eels fans are so triggered about it being moved

Now seeing we'll be able to attract & accommodate more to a near full capacity of WT members and fans to the game, now knowing we're away from scum territory. Smart move WT 👏

Thanks, we have had several great holiday Mondays there and especially good with a couple of WT wins. Sadly progressive paranoid schizophrenia tore apart at that bit by bit to the point that we have only been able to be together as a family unit sporadically since the days of the move to bankwest.

With her now long term acceptance of medication and a change of pharmaceuticals in recent months, plus today's announcement from the club, I hope that despite Covid, we will once again be able to enjoy a family day out together at both the game and showgrounds this Easter.

Probably going to get shouted down for this but ANZ makes the most sense to be our permanent and main home ground. Right down the road from Concord, accessible, just needs a refit to make it a square field like Bank West and we're good.

Still have 2 games each at Leichardt and Campbelltown. But ANZ or Australia Stadium could be the thing we've wanted - a home.

That post was more about me encouraging others to voice their opinion on this subject to the club. There will be a decision made in the next few years and I'll keep voicing mine until that decision is made and I suggest everyone else should do the same. Let the club know what your opinion is as that is the only way to be heard.

So four home grounds in Sydney? Laughable.

It maybe laughable but playing our home game against parra in parra was beyond crazy

Feels like we're scared.
