Edwards

Well I don't see any problem, after all , Edwards should be given 40 or so games so that he can eventually show us just how much potential can be unlocked. No matter how bad he went today
Isn't that the way we work??

Don't forget to pay him his $700K !!
That's how we roll ….
Then when he wants out we can let him go at his own will !

His first game with the NRL side and this is what he cops

Deserves a 2nd chance and time to build some combinations

As I said in a thread the other day , I could see this coming a mile away , they expected Bradley Clyde or Bob Lindner reborn

Seriously? Nah mate i just expect a seasoned first grader to not drop off easy tackles. Its this acceptance of mediocrity that holds us back. You and Geo are in lala land mate. Edwards was shithouse

How many years since he played NRL KS ??

Different speed of the game from NSW Cup , bloke should not be crucified for one game

Edwards was ordinary. He deserves another chance but his defence was average and his attack was terrible.

Has to be given a few games to get up to speed ,if not reggies await.

Years? Have i missed something? Has he been injured for years? Or does that just suit your argument? Doesnt matter if he eventually does come good, it still wont excuse todays effort. Years? Please.

The guy may have missed games last year but he hasnt not played for years mate. He started pre season, got injured so fell behind. Then got himself back and has had a few games in state cup. That should be more than enough for a guy like him to not dish up what he did today.

He hit ankles like a small under 9 halfback does.

I'd say 2014 and possibly 2014

KS you'll cut slack on some and not others , what gives ??

He deserves a second chance that's all I'm saying

He didn't look fit. Soft build despite his size.

He looked Over weight , so why did Master coach pick him ?

Maybe he has been reading the forum and gave into the wishes of the majority of members. I will give him another week or 2 before deciding, but he needs to lift.

Worst club debut ever? Do we so quickly forget Sam Harris, Jason Cayless, Corey Paterson, NBQ, Trent Runciman, Ahmad Bajouri, Chris Paterson, Steve Trindall, Ryan O'Hara, Glen Air, Luke Milton, Clint Hill, Nick Graham, Keiran Kerr, Matt Jobson, Rhys Hanbury, Blake Lazarus, Sean Meaney, Nathan Waters, Jacob Miller, Tom Humble, Masada Iosefa, Braith Anasta?

But has this forum over rated him? He was a handy work horse at the Knights and didn't cut it (mainly due to injury) at the Raiders. He's a one dimensional tackling machine who didn't even tackle last night. I think we pinned too higher hopes on him. If he's persevered with, he will, again, become a serviceable, tradesman-like first grader but nothing more, a bit like Lawrence.

Waste Anasta was far worse!

I didn't watch the game but sounds disappointing. None the less, everyone deserves at least a couple of games in the top grade. Perhaps a combination of trying too hard and 'rusty' with his timing out - it's a long while since he's played the game. Give him another shot. There's a lot of upside if he does play to his potential.

There is probably a good reason for him being a fringe first grader at the Knights and the Raiders. Not sure why people thought he would be anything other than that when he came here. Based on that performance he clearly needs to improve his game to consistently play first grade at any club. Certainly it would be a waste of time in bringing him to the club without giving him the opportunity. Its up to him now to really make the most of it if he gets another crack.
