By the sounds of the quotes, I think we know who is going to be captain.

No his hitups are not going to be gangbusting charges but he is smart and he does take some good options in attack.
Did he do anything special? Hardly anyone did today but ET was there when it counted, made a lot of covering tackles, many 1-1.
He's a good all-around footballer and I don't see why you'd not want him to stay at the club, for all the lack of depth we have. ET fits well into a well-balanced side, something we still don't have yet.
There's a reason he's making that many tackles - He's being targeted because he doesn't hurt anyone….
He's slow and doesn't make many meters - Handy with the ball in hand yes, But is it enough to warrant his 500 a year price tag?
There's a reason we've improved of late and it's not because of ET.

He's a hard-working bloke who puts in the hard yards and tidies up the defense. He's our best wrestler and a leader of the pack. He is very effective. Simple.
@ said:Well ive got a long 3 years ahead of me deciding if he's an effective addition to the pack or just holds someone better out hindering our progress. Cant say im excited.
@ said:I'm glad he' re-signed but 3 years is maybe too long. He's already been pushed out of lock by Eisenhuth and he's less effective in the back row as he doesn't pose much threat as a runner.
Our back row is still a massive problem for next year, half a dozen workers and no one that can break the line….
He's certainly up there for captain and a top person to have in the squad though

Are you looking at the right player? Been to Specsavers lately? ET almost every tackle has the opposition player on their back, with his head pinning their body on the ground long enough to get our D organised.
Mathew Elliott rates his the third best lock in the NRL, and I suppose Elliott has a lot more experience than both you and myself.

I love our bus!
