How many threads like this have i seen over the past 10 years? I've lost count.

We are a poorly coached team and that is screwing us. Well by poorly coached i mean over coached - to the point that no-one in the team has a clue what their role is. So much attacking talent yet we are left dumbfounded time and time again. Sheens is senile in old age and must go. Anyone that says otherwise is blinded by passion for the club. Common sense says that years of underachievement = new coach.

If our defence hadn't improved we would be bottom 3 right now.

what big sook? i said they obviously havent seen the named team and roosters would smash it in, what today proved (other then sheens incompetence) was the roosters can play the most pathetic game of football and still beat us.
 
Theres no doubt we are a poorly coached team absolutly no form or function but what do you do contract extensions just keep coming I don't blame the coach I go further up the ladder.

Possibly the worst game of Rugby League I have seen in 5 years. The bye will have us on toast!

I just have nothing to say right now. I'm off for a good sit down, some quiet time and a comparatively enjoyable experience (unlike the game this afternoon). Something like…oh...I don't know... I might go out and get leprosy.
If you'll excuse me, I'm off to the Chemist to buy some more optimism medication.

There's no pointing turning this thread by attacking Ron.

Sheensy has switched the 1, 6, 7 and 9 about a dozen times in the past few weeks. It starts and ends there. The sad / scary / unbelievable thing is that the bloke did the same thing last year and it cost us the season.

Fitzy at pivot v the Panthers…....that didn't work the ten other times he tried it, but there he went and did it again.

Robbie at half?...........tried and failed before.

Yet Sheens went and did it again.

It's just insane at this point.

why the hell do we still have this useless coach that has had 3 good months in 6 years for????? another usual 9th place finish we suck

Snake, be honest, were you not confident most of that game? I for one, and very weird, was feeling like we would win until the lucky try in the 75th minute. I just kept waiting for Benji or Farah to create the 6 pointer that we needed to close it out. Those two did bugger all, all game (but I love them nonetheless!). That game was there for the taking and we just did nothing to take it. The line up was strong, the forwards did very well. We just had no spark. As I have said elsewhere, I am not sheens backer, but this loss was not due to his coaching.

I think the coaching can be good. it isn't the coaching that is the problem - it is team selections.

Team selections + robbie has been ordinary for a long time now + benji is not the player he was at the backend of last year and at the start of this year.

Robbie plays at 9 and Sheens needs to give him strict instructions about staying there and getting us going forward. I watched Ennis the other night and he is atm about 20 times the player Robbie is. This is solely because he tries and get his forwards going forward. Benji at 6 or 7 but the main point is that he needs to get involved and lead the team around + he needs to run it more.

We also need impact on our bench. Fifita is a gun but we need more players creating something when they come on the field.

Truthfully the team now has better forwards and outside backs than we have had in ages. We are close but Sheens needs to get it together quick.
