Farah needs to put the club first in 2017

Farah playing 60 minutes has done wonders for us and him.

Has it? We have a sample size of two games thus far. Admittedly they were both wins, but it's a little soon to ascertain whether it's correlation or causation.
Let's see how we do between now and the end of the year before we start using terms like 'done wonders'.

So 2/2 100% success rate is not wonders lol. Or would you rather Halatau keep going there, or even better lets move Elijah Taylor and get him playing there. Farah looks rejuvenated playing 60 minutes. We look a much better team when he comes on. Doesnt mean we will win every game, but it means we have alot more chance of winning.

Read my post - I said that 2 games is too small of a sample size to really get a good idea given there's a multitude of other factors at play.
I've no real opinion either way (yet), but I do think you're being a tad excessive with terms like 'wonders' and saying he looks rejuvenated.

I think this farahphobia extends way past the wt forum to most of the footy world. Why else does no-one want Farah at less than half price?

I don't think it has much to do with Farah, even Segeyaro couldn't score a contract.

What I am interested in is whether he is playing in our next game or is he, as he has done for the past two SOO's, going to have another break due to playing SOO the week before? If so he is certainly proving to be an expensive commodity for Wests tigers.

Segeyaro has plenty of baggage and got a contract with Leeds. You got to ask the question Why doesn't anyone want the current nsw vice captain on a heavily subsidised contract?

Your right why wouldnt anyone want a hooker at the end of his career, when you look to the future. Oh unless yoir the tigers and you take a 32 year old hooker who had just had knee reconstruction surgery :astonished:

Didn't make a difference when the haters use those sort of stats to say that we win more games this season with farah out!!!
How is that stat going these days haters? Haven't heard much lately…..

The reason the stats are better is Farah is only playing 30min max if he played more mins the stats would tell a different story ..more mins he plays = a lose these are the real stats this is why he is only playing 30 mins yesterday's hero!

How convenient to make up your own stats to back up your point:

Round 14= Farah comes of bench and plays 54 minutes, scores a try, we win.

Round 17= Farah comes of bench and plays 62 minutes, scores a try, we win.

Lets look at the stats since Farah started coming off the bench, its worked wonders for both him and the club. Im not really a Farah fan and was calling for him to go, but when you make a change and it starts working then credit to JT and Farah for making it work. In a perfect world both FARAH and TAYLOR will be gone next year, but im all about making the finals this year, and this seems to be working.

That would be a better world for sure, please make this happen.

Lots of guesswork going on here. Who says that there is a heavily subsidised contract on offer from the Tigers ? Who says that Robbie is looking to leave ?

Didn't he ask for a release last yr?

I find Daley's comments on 360 interesting. I'm sure he would have had conversations with Farah in camp about Farah's future in the Blues jersey. Did Robbie give him the heads up on something?

I thought the club made it Quite clear that they wanted to move him on and would subsidise the contract. He was in advanced talks with the roosters but the players kyboshed it.

You asked for it and I'm going to deliver it.
This year
3/9 Wins with Farah
4/8 Wins without….
Hows your math?

66.6 % of those with him coming off the bench….

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Including rep games, he's won 4 games games all year. I can't see how we would go well without him.

Hadn't watched last nights NRL 360 until just now , but Daley was asked whether Robbie had mentioned anything to him about his chances of playing SOO next season

Daley sort of danced around it , said he couldn't really say where Farah would be in 2017, but then said he expected Robbie to make an announcement sometimes over the next week and a half

Are we going to hear an SOO retirement or he won't be at the club next season ??

Probably just SOO retirement.

Maybe Daley gave Robbie the heads up regarding his selection chances next year.

Robbie won't put the club first. It's always Robbie first.
Did anyone catch the footage after Paul Gallen kicked the goal last night? Did anyone else notice Farah? Far from overjoyed because it wasn't about him.

I noticed also he looked a little more subdued than the others, my take on it was he realised theyd only won a game - a dead rubber - not a series, and therefore nothing to get all that excited about.

I'm not sure what he asked for but he seems to want to stay. The last I heard he wanted to extend post 2017.

Unfortunately your probably right Nelson, My concern if Farah stays we may well lose ET through lack of funds.

That is only at raw face value, the strength of the teams played under each category must be factored in. And during Origin when we defeated Brissie it was probably because they had more in Origin than we did - so that one without Robbie was a plus but not for the reason he was not there but due to opposition players not there as well.

Brisbane had 7 internationals in the team we defeated…with us also missing Tedesco and Woods....

And they've dropped how many games since.
