Farah needs to put the club first in 2017

At least there is an end game with this guy even if it at the end of next season ,it can not come quick enough for many of us!

If our prima donna happens to greatly help WT get into 2016 finals would you still want to see the back of him? Isn't the finals what the game is about?

Well if he plays to his ability he may help sneak us in the semis.
Woods is another one who in recent years dropped off after origin.
The door is half ajar and we play all the teams competing for 7th and 8th so this will show if good enough.
Lucky for us as we haven't won any against top sides even though came close.

We beat the Broncos.

And that's by retiring from rep footy. The writing is on the wall anyway with Gallen announcing his retirement and Bird probably having played his last game. He's the only senior player in the squad whose future remains unclear, and I'm sure he sees the opportunity to captain the Blues so he won't retire on his own accord. His ego won't allow him to. But if he looks at the club he professes to love, next yr at Origin time we'll need him with Woods and Ted gone. Do the right thing and retire from rep footy. You might save a bit of face by avoiding being dropped and you'll be benefitting the club.

if the club commits to putting him first, he may well reciprocate.

So I fully expect Farah to play Origin next year, if he doesn't take up the offer from Leeds.

What offer? Leeds just signed Segeyaro

Segeyaro has only been signed for this season.

Leeds have an offer on the table for Farah. Even if they keep Segeyaro, english sides don't function the same as NRL sides. They regularly rest players.

Using win/loss records with and without Farah for this year only is very narrow minded and entirely ludicrous, ridiculous and moronic.

He was signed for next yr as well.

Its an option for next year in Leeds' favour

Judging by some of the comments on Facebook with the latest team announcement, JT is the one who is going to be looking to take up an option in the ESL next year..

Yeah, first finals appearance in five years would be a good way to go out.

Can you tell me there wouldn't be a section of supporters that would still want JT sacked if we made the finals?

If Farah plays like he has for NSW and the Tigers the last few matches I want him to see out his contract.
He has been damaging off the bench and why pay him out to play elsewhere. It would allow Liddle to play 30 minutes a game off the bench and cover if Farah is injured.

JT should remain coach if we make the finals and he should only be replaced when his contract expires if there is a better option. If Hasler or Bellamy apply the punt him however, he has improved since Buckets held him accountable so have the players. I would get a defensive minded coach to help as we are a rabble defensively.

Honestly I think I want JT sacked at the end of this season no matter what. Worst case at the end of next season. I think we have underperformed for a while and the way the Robbie situation has been handled is really poor.

It was interesting reading one of the comments in the press conference "I’m still not comfortable with where we are on the ladder. In my opinion we should be further up the ladder with the squad that we’ve got."

I agree with JT. Our squad is pretty good. I just think JT has been really poor.
