Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story. Robbie was very accomodating to fans before & after the game as well as during the warm up.

I was at the ground and somewhat agree with this assessment… Even straight after the game Robbie gave away his boots to a young fan and took photos etc.

They cant service every fans dreams every time!

I see what's happened here..

Straight after the game Robbie went over and engaged with fans…gave away his boots to the young kiddie ..photo's etc..

THEN

the whole team went into the sheds ...Fans stuck around waiting for them to come out...When they did Robbie brushed them all straight onto the Bus...

Everybody WINS...

He who can do no wrong, and he who can do no right, and somewhere in the middle is where you will find him.

Sorry mate, it was more a shot at the jerk who dreams up the story. It wasn't meant to be a shot at you.

All good mate.

I am waiting for the tele/serial on Robbie

nah BBF,it would get boring after a short time..a better series would be"The Days Of Our Forum Lives"hosted by Geo and Happy "with many guest appearances by the forum members….It can be narrated by CB,screened and rated by Willow who is in charge of censorship as well..And to make it really interesting a SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE by ALIEN and JERRY,albeit under assumed names...

actually sounds like its happening now at times...

back to Robbie, lets give him the chance to prove what he has said, during this year, then we can judge him on that... 😕

Robbie Farah opens up on rift with Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor

It has been a gut-wrenching past six months for the NSW Origin hooker, who was told by coach Taylor last August that he was surplus to requirements for the 2016 season.”

Poor Robbie, work place problems, highest paid player in the team, goes to the superbowl…didn't see too many issues on his fb holidaying by Thailand etc

The only thing I took notice of from this article is that he will play a more attacking role.
I didn't see the point in keeping him with the old structure in attack.

If this is the case a few of the others will have to pick up their workloads in defence….he wont be in too much of an attacking mood having to do his 40/50/60 tackles p/g hes done in the past

"Farah insists he can work with Taylor this season and has pledged to play a more attacking style in 2016 after an off-season appraisal with halves Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses."

He is still the best dummy half to get us on the front foot in both attack and defence. A switch in captaincy will be a good thing going forward

He also has the most reliable kicking game of any player we have on our books and your kicking game is such a important part of the game and often gets overlooked

at the start of the season, everyone is tally ho and have a spring in their step.

pretty much the same in any new workplace- everyone is happy and keen to do well.

lets wait and see how the place is functioning come winter time.

mind you success will go a long way to improve relations between farah and taylor.

cant see the warm fuzzies lasting too long.i hope that i am wrong,as do all wests tigers supporters.

Yes, success will go a long way to improve relations between Farah and Taylor….and fans/members. But that success will be built upon the quality of the player recruitment/retention and the coaching of Taylor, not the effort of Farah. There's a zillion hooker options for the Club in 2016 but only one coach option. Let's see how Taylor's grand plan takes effect in 2016\. If he's good enough, then Farah certainly is.

Don't be too sure Sabre. There'd be half a dozen members on here alone who would do just this.

I find it interesting, paraphrasing Robbie, that letting go of the captaincy has ended up helping him relax more and bring a different mindset to training.

I would have said 6+ months ago he was doing everything he could to fight to stay as captain. It would almost seem like he has been forced to make some changes, concessions perhaps, as a result of last's years attempt to move him on, and he's now saying that some of it is for the better.

Frankly if you are a stress-head leader, if you carry to much burden yourself or you distance yourself from your team in order to process or calm down, that's not ideal. We need a captain who stays as level-headed as possible when times are tough. And if Robbie is not that person any more, I'm glad he made the decision / agreed to step aside.

Agreed. You don't want a captain who admits to sulking for days when he loses and doesn't talk to anybody. What kind of leader is that?

Kick him at any opportunity.

I only hope we don't lose Cherington because of lack of game time.

Hmmm…Head-to-head battles for spots at your club ahead of 2016 NRL season

Tigers — Matt Ballin v Robbie Farah v Manaia Cherrington

After a very public spat between Robbie Farah and Jason Taylor where the Wests Tigers No.9 was told to find a new home, the feud has come to a ceasefire and Farah has remained. But who will start the season? Having recruited Matt Ballin from Manly, the Tigers now have two experienced heads, while Manaia Cherrington is one of the most promising young rakes in the competition. Ballin didn’t leave his home at the Sea Eagles to play reserve grade for the Tigers so where does that leave Farah and Cherrington? Farah was previously threatened with playing NSW Cup if he didn’t leave but it appears those threats have disappeared, so is the off-contract Cherrington the unlucky man?

Like who ??

What a load of garbage

Instead of the innuendo name names

I think most on here are mature and honest enough to handle situations on their true merits

Robbie cops it on here is what I'm saying.

This thread is a perfect example. Some bloke goes from something on twitter (which turns out to be false) and then 3 or 4 blokes come in and pour some more cheap Farah hate on with their used jokes.

You used it for another cheap gaga about the hole in the fence at Ctown!

Now you can say its light hearted banter, but its another little pot shot you couldn't resist.

Many are the same, they will take any opportunity to take a pot shot at a club legend. I just think its poor form.

But your all entitled to your opinion.
