According to James Hooper - believe it or not- the club has been holding up the deal - however it appears that it will happen in the next 48 hours and while it was looking like the Sharks last week - a big push by Crowe, Ingliss and Burgess have now got it looking like South's. Heard this all before.
So if it does go through before the game on the weekend - another dilemma presents itself for the club.

What dilemma?

If Hooper is correct and a big" if' - to farewell or not farewell?
Im guessing you wouldn't be there anyway Gallagher.

Surely he'll get to do a lap with Halatua.
I'll go to watch the team, but your right, i wouldn't be going specifically to give him a farewell.

This circus has been going on almost 2 months and it hasn't distracted the players. I can't see it distracting them now.

The former ringmaster has been moved aside and the performers seem to be getting on with their art and changed routines.

If a deal is finalised before sunday, the club will definitly give him a send off. I hope the deal gets done, it would be sad not to a farewell the last remaining member of 05 (with Halatau).

The farewell speech can acknowledge that Robbie has been a valued member of the Tigers family, alongside Ben Jeffries, Junior Moors, Hassan Saleh and so the list goes on. Maybe Mick Potter can present a farewell gift

Sam Ayoub organised a protest last year, surely he can organise a farewell independent of the club

The majority of supporters will be very happy to farewell a club legend. It might upset you but i bet you hed get a standing ovation and a big round of applause by 99% of the people there. Lucky you can be the 1%.

I'm in that 99% that will be giving him a standing ovation!

And I will be in the 100% that will be glad this saga has ended!

It'll end. The sooner the better but it will be forgotten soon enough.

It'll end.

Until he starts playing well or poorly next season and then the supporters/baggers will be all over it again saying how right/wrong the decision was.

Inevitable.
