Farah wants football to do his talking..

Some criticism?? It never ends.

Our best player EVER and this pack of faceless internet heroes keep bashing away.

Thats just low to me.

Some people are capable of independent thought. Just because they have an opinion that differs from the pack doesn't make them wrong.

I couldn't care less that some anonymous pissant thinks I'm wrong.

Anyway despite how poorly he was at times last year being our Captain? I'm sure we are not Naive to know if we are going to have any success whatsoever Farah needs to be firing .

i'm hoping his put everything behind him and that 2015 we can start building our Club for a brighter future, there is no denying of his talent on any given Day.

Criticism of any player isn't an issue, It's a footy forum thats what happens on these websites.

The issue is when forumers refuse to cut players (Lawerence, Farah, Galloway) a break, continually bashing the same player for unjustified reasons. Even if the bashing was justified, it's 2015 for God's sake build a bridge and get over it. Are we seriously going to have to put up with the whole Robbie/Potter issue every time we lose, he has a quite game or is interviewed ?

I personally wasn't happy with how my then favourite player and club captain handled the situation at the back end of 2014 but that doesn't mean we need to bring it up every bloody time someone mentions his name.

In a recent thread I'd say 90% of posters rated him the best if not in the top 3 ever wests tigers players. He is our club captain, a tiger for life, has stayed for less money, bleeds wests tigers and has carried us since 2007\. One blemish and supporters still can't let it go 6 months on.

With the above in mind I'm willing to give him another chance, some posters should consider buying into giving a club legend a second chance. Then again that's just my opinion.

Farah has many positive attributes.Theres just one that I hope hes cleaned up for 2015.And yes he is deserved of a second chance in my book.He would gain a lot more respect if he just put his hand up to the playing group and admit his wrongs of last year.Just sayin dont mean to start a whole lets hate robbie thing.

How do you know he hasn't?

Taylor mentioned a Camp in Wollongong where the players had a very candid meeting and laid it all on the line about what it is to represent the Club….

So by just reading this post I am a nuffie, a gutless keyboard warrior or a whatever?

It hurts so much because I just wish to be an innocent"Weststigers forumer".

You see, I mistakenly took this forum to be a place where I don't have to be a special type of person. I shouldn't have to be a certain age. I shouldn't have to be a certain gender. I shouldn't have to hold a high level of education. To be a Weststigers forumer all I should need is an opinion.

And yet, here I am … I am special because I am a senior mature aged adult, I am a male, I hold an AQF level 8 education. See, I did tell you that I am special.

But alas - that is just my opinion.

Welcome to our forum brothers and sisters.

I don't like fishing, but I grabbed a can of tuna at the shops that I took the dog for a walk to, as it was near the playground my son wanted to play at.

Having done that, maybe I have earned the right to post on here this evening. But as I'm not sure what I was thinking of posting would meet the merit criteria of some, I am just going to leave this.

CQ,Formerguest,I don't care what they reckon Iam, I will continue to post my opinion weather some like it or not,if they agree or disagree..

Untill Iam told by the MODS that I can no longer post, then the rest who want to argue can go to hell…

I hate when we get flogged, the fans walk out upset and peeved for the next 3 days and the players are laughing and having a giggle with the opposition

I feel the same Tiger! :imp:

Just post banal things like "So do I" like I did - that'll keep you safe

When you're being paid big bucks either way, it's disappointing not devastating. I'm no longer convinced that Farah is in it for the club. Having been named a Tiger for life, he has reached his goal in club football and his motivation now comes from rep football glory. I might well be proven wrong (I am happy to be) but last year's episode left a very sour taste.

gee n.t tiger you are being a bit hard on Robbie . he has been at the club over 10 years now not always on big $ , he carries the defence week in week out 40 to 50 tackles a game he makes more breaks . and as for reached his goal in club football b/s he would love to captain a grand final winning side . I also remember Parramatta offered more $ for him some time back but he stayed with west please every one get off robbies back :sign:

Spot on….the bloke lives and breathes Tigers and still cops it.

I haven't bagged the bloke as a player and never will I put him in my three greatest Tigers and love his loyalty

But don't tell me for the umpteenth time that defence is our No 1 focus

I drove 23 hours to Townsville (return ) and saw what our No 1 defensive priority was for the Cowboys game :brick:

You want to drift through life and believe every piece of BS you read is the Gospel according to Robbie Farah go right ahead

Truth is I dont know.I hope he has.Whats also true is last year I spoke to a lot of the players a lot of the time thru my unique situation and not once did I mention Robbie but I did mention Potter often and how he wasnt getting a fair shake and they all agreed.I try and be as positive as I can when talking to the boys but last year was hard.Especially when there was one leak after another last year from deadwood within. This year In hindsight Im glad we got Taylor and if there is one thing Taylor and Farah share its a major dislike for losing.Im pretty sure they will work together.

Some take things waaay too personal…or maybe they miss the point.

I dont think any of us here have anything much of value to offer proffesional sportsmen, if they need advice or positive re-affirmment or anything here is the last place they should look...
