My favourite movies, IE, those I would happily see several times.
Film & Director
12 Monkeys: Terry Gilliam
Mulholland Drive: David Lynch
No Country for Old Men: Coen Brothers
Blood Simple: Coen Brothers
Blue Velvet: David Lynch
Fargo: Coen Brothers
Brazil: Terry Gilliam

I also like some of the later films directed by Clint Eastwood.

How good is David Lynch! I love Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway

Yeah, he's excellent. I could watch his films over and over. I haven't seen Lost Highway. Something to look forward to. Cheers

Two recent ones I managed to squeeze in.....

3 From Hell.....good movie and a nice end to the Devil's Rejects/House of 1000 Corpses trilogy.....

Boar....Aussie horror. Highlight was Bill Moseley.....lowlight was everything else

Anyone seen this?
Bit weird.

Hathaway can scrub up alright on her day. Especially in the movie Havoc👍

Sexy Beast (with Ray Winstone and a mesmerising Ben Kingsley performance) probably favourite all-time film.

We Were Soldiers
Two Hands
Borat

She's cringe in Havoc lol

Anthony Hopkins is set to star in a new boxing film project titled Cus And Mike. Hopkins will be taking on the role of Mike Tyson’s legendary trainer Cus D’Amato, and the story will follow how he “molded the fighter into becoming the youngest heavyweight title winner ever and one of the most ferocious boxers of his generation.”

Garbage...what a flop !

Such an epic event turned into the most boring and bloodless world war 2 movie I’ve ever seen ..
I think I gave the DVD away to one of my customers it was that crap .
Everyone talked it up but I doubt anyone will watch it twice !

The intertwined timelines are to the detriment of the film and the switching screen aspect ratios bringing the black bars in and out can also annoy some, but it is the quality of the picture and sound that I like it for. Though it is not an Atmos or DTS-X encode, it excells for a 5.1 surround presentation and one that lends itself to surround upmixers for a reasonble half dome height effect.

Edit; I would probably give the DVD away too, as the picture and sound quality of any DVD is poor by the standards of more than the past decade. Your Qled deserves nothing less than full hd quality, though if you don't have at least 3 decent front speakers, I suppose the sound quality won't make much difference anyhow.

I was let down by it. For a film with such a budget, cast and director...I expected more.

Didn't say the movie was good. Hathaway looked pretty good in it though.
Blood In Blood Out, I think I saw that about 30 years ago. Or has it been re-made?
