First Grade Live Game Thread vs Sharks *Contains Spoilers*

I hate seeing our blokes who have just had their asses smacked, laughing it up after fulltime with the mob who crushed them. Maybe it's a generational thing, but i know Raudonikis & Donnelly would of shaken hands and trudged off ready for Masters to blast them

Can't help but feel sorry for the team. They are trying, but simply outclassed and outmuscled. We don't have the experience across the park, nor do we have the size, strength and ability to play for 80 minutes. I fear we'll end up with the spoon after watching this tonight.

We're a moral for the spoon Willow. The young blokes are trying but are a full year off being able to play with intensity for 80 minutes. As a team, we just gave up in this one. They werent much better than us yet flogged us….dissapointing.

People are bleating like we were ran over physically and out-skilled. What I saw was a fragile team confidence wise, Koro crumbled under pressure, beaten by himself… it was the definition of what a young team will do without leadership from the old heads. What do people expect? We rode a wave of positivity until it crashed on us, and buckled in the white wash.

We will eventually keep our heads above water and the errors will disappear. We have the talent on the park, even second and third string as we have at present, they just need to ride the composure game better and learn to deal with the pressure.

Luke Lewis 19 runs for 171 metres
Adam Blair 8 runs for 62 metres

LOL

When is someone going to DO SOMETHING about Adam Blair? Shoot a rocket up his ass or something? Take him aside Potter!

Buchanan has made more runs and metres off the bench than Blair.

I made more metres than Blair going from the lounge to the kitchen a couple of times tonight.

I reckon I ran a marathon between the live stream, the fridge and the dunny. :roll

Can't wait to see what Souths do to us next week. Given the state of our roster at the moment, the only way we can salvage something from this season is if the senior players have a dig and lead the way. The concerning thing for me is we have a 20 year old prop, leading the way in metres hit ups and tackles and we have a senior backrower who has one competitions and played test football who is happy to sit back and bludge off the back of his work. It should be Blair leading the way and blokes like Woods and Buchanan following him not the other way around.

As for Marshall, does he even want to be playing? I've read in the paper every week a quote from Maarshall saying "I know I haven't been involved enough" or "I know i've been playing poorly" well stop talking about it and do something about it.

IMO the club has to make a decision about its future. And it would be absolute idiocy to resign Marshall and run the risk of losing both our young halves prospects in the 20s.

Woods and Farah aside I'm really disappointed with the way some of our senior players have reacted to the injury toll and presence of younger players in the side. It's time to step up or step down.

Will turn off the replay at end of first forty no good sitting through the pain of the second half. So did Benji live up to the promise of running the ball more?

I used to think our injuries were a legitimate excuse for being bad..but

we make the basic fundamental errors, and cannot build pressure at all lol.

I could only watch 10 minutes of the 2nd half on a live stream and we have a ton of work to do.

I reckon atleast 2015 before we are even top 8 contenders again
