I think its a big wrap for the club.

You look at clubs like Manly and Cronulla and they seem to be in turmoil.

Slowly if we can improve the roster the wheel could turn quickly.

**We are building some foundations. Just hope Pascoe is here for another 5-10 years.**

Couldnt agree more. This is my biggest fear.

I was stoked when he was punted from Penrith and couldn't believe our luck when he landed here, and I hope he stays. He is the best CEO in the business.

He didn't get punted. He was head of rugby league still at the panthers when we poached him for the CEO role.

Yep. Go offered him a promotion as a CEO.

From the SMH.
Pascoe was the favourite to become the Tigers boss. "He's a sensational appointment," Tigers chairwoman Marina Go said. "We did a global search, we interviewed some fantastic candidates internationally. We are thrilled we are able to find a candidate of his calibre."

He steps into the role following a one-year stint as head of NRL at the Panthers. Pascoe stepped down from his post at the Panthers on Thursday via a club statement: "Panthers head of rugby league Justin Pascoe has tendered his resignation effective immediately. The Panthers have accepted his resignation and wish Justin the best in his future endeavours.

I agree with all the favourable sentiments expressed about Go and Pascoe. They are an outstanding team and we are lucky to have them.

Last year Buzz was on NRL 360 denigrating Pascoe and Go. He said they were very poor and compared them to what he regarded as outstanding operators - Damien Keogh the chair of the Sharks and Raelene Castle the CEO at the Dogs. They were outstanding and our two were mugs in comparison.

It is hilarious in hindsight. Shortly after Buzz waxing lyrical about Keogh, he was busted for drugs possession (quite appropriate for the chair of the drug cheating sharks) and had to stand down. Castle left the dogs in a shambles at the end of the season (although how much of that was Des' fault I don't know).

What a great judge is Buzz.

It's why he writes for newspapers and doesn't run companies. He was in no position to make a qualified judgement in the first place.

Felt sorry for pascoe and go. They had a lot of blame laid at their feet while unravelling the mess from prior admin.

Last year was actually pascoes first year he had input into the roster without being handcuffed by prior decisions.

They have made a profit with a team who keeps finishing in the bottom half of the comp. When they finally start mixing it with the big boys and it will happen, they will rake it in

A great effort by the club which shows the front office is working. Hope it continues into perpetuity.

It’s been a very impressive performance by team Go & Pascoe over last couple of years. Difficult times handled with great finesse.
Particularly the way they repelled and deflected the media cronies.
We are definitely not a basket case they have been peddling in their rags.
Well done!
