Hard to find at any co op these days let alone catch one, probably headed to extinction, was very common decades ago.

You used to ages ago catch them in the middle of winter in bays and lakes they loved live yellowtail but true they are found at depth too.
Apparently just reading they are not endangered but hard to locate from over fishing, bit like gemfish, they were plentiful years ago but not now.
