Schulman must've been the smallest player ever to play first grade... Tough bugger

Mal Creevy would have been in a photo finish with Schulman both played well above their weight

Speaking of tiny, seen John Kolc a few times. (Parra half before Sterlo, played one game for Australia). I reckon I could pick him up with one arm.

Used to work with two of his sons. They're fridgies.

I’d say three quarters of the Panthers squad lives in Glenmore Park.i see a lot of them regularly a few former players too.
Tim Grant has sweet old ford XY
Grew up a few doors down from Luke Rooney in Blaxland lol he lived with his parents for ages.

Off topic but related.but I still work with a bloke called Peter Lewis, was part of the panthers 2003 squad.only played a few games.ended up at the Eels.same as Brett Dallas who was doing an Electrical Apprenticeship a few years ago

Petero used to live five doors down from my parents in GP when he was at Penrith. Luke Priddis lived a few streets away from them too. He came to our place when his kids were doing their communion with my youngest sister (obviously figured out he's a reasonably devoted Catholic.)

Benji Marshall lived at Breakfast Point which is about 0.5km from where I live. I have seen him many times in the area.

I'm good mates with Gavin Allens brother
Met Alfie Langer a few times when the Balmain tigers had the wood on the Broncos. That's when Broncos were sponsored by Powers Brewing
I least I got a few free jugs of beer out of him
I'm mates with a couple of guys who played footy for the North Sydney Bears under 20's and Manly under 20's a few years ago now
Brad, the Manly player is build like spud carol and is a top bloke
We stir each other when the games are on
At least we had the wood on them this year
Meet Wayne Pearce a few years ago now up in Cairns
That was before Mitchell made a name for himself at the Roosters
I was trained a couple of times in my junior days by Wayne Pearce when he 1st made 1st grade for the tigers
Its funny, a few guys I know who have played at a top level league don't follow the game as much any more
They seem as frustrated as all of us with the changes the game has made

Webcke and the axe (T. Gilmister) did a luncheon at my local last week. Top blokes. Very friendly and happy to chat to all the locals, even after the lunch was over. Webcke lives nearby, see him quite a bit. Bloke is fit as. A bit lighter these days but still got that massive barrel chest

I completely forgot about petros stint at the panthers
Always seemed like a top bloke.

Latte Lote used to live about 5mins away from me and would see him every other afternoon as he would walk his dog in the same park as I walked mine. Always said, hi, how you doing, had one or two decent chats with him.
Most of the time he would stick to himself though, just playing games with his two young kids and his dog.
He always looked really relaxed there but that was probably part of the day he most looked forward to.

Lived in the same apartment complex as Ian Robert’s back when he was still playing. Needless to say he raised more than a few eyebrows in my household as at that stage he hadn’t come out as being gay.

I know Terry Donnellan an old Magpie from the 80’s. really nice guy who loves a beer.

I grew up in the same area as Chris Anderson, Steve Folkes and Ray Price. Bulldogs boys were cool but Ray Price is a DH.

I have Mark ONeill live a few streets away from him, see him walk with his daughter most afternoons. His wife also works with my brother in law (also a big tigers fan) says he's always been a nice guy.

My sister also brought Liam Fulton's apartment recently in Northmead. I went to the open day and wasn't a bad sized place for an apartment. He has his all stars jersey on the wall alongside Robbie Farah's NSW jersey.

Mark O'Neill's wife reckons he's always been a great guy?? Was she overseas or something when he got caught out exposing himself to a fellow WT employee? Surprised his missus is still with him TBH, she seemed like a beaut lady when she was being interviewed a fair while back after battling breast cancer. Hope she is doing well with that these days.

He is a bit yeah...I'm related to him like second cousins or something. Used to go watch him play a lot when I was a kid up at cumberland oval. I always felt like the only tigers fan in the joint back then. Always left in tears with my cherished flag dragging behind me after yet another flogging lol. Good family friends of ours had a daughter that married Gavin Jones. Went to his wedding. Another complete knob. Did a quote for Jarrod Wallace a month back. He seemed like a really good guy. Didn't get the job though.

When my wife and I moved into our new 'regional area' house about 12 years ago, Bobby Doyle from the Berries worked for the local builder as our house painter, and did an excellent job.
For those of us that are old enough to have seen him play you would remember he was a really cheeky player similar to Michael Ennis, who did a lot of talkin on the field, but was fairly reserved off it.
I met him a few times but never got into a conversation. He was apparently a really nice bloke though.

Many years ago I lived only a few houses away from a Very Famous name in Speedway Sidecar racing...Bob Levy.
I used to love the sound of his outfit when he did a bit of a tune up, but never had the pleasure of meeting him.
He became my hero at the Sydney Showground Speedway in the 60's and 70's.
And I still go to an occasional Sidecar/Solo Speedway meeting when the Aust. C'ships are on.

He's a plumber is he not and lives in or works out of the Berala area, or have i mixed him up with someone else?

I went to school with Darren Albert (he was school captain when i was in year 7) John Morris was the year above me, Dane Tilse and Todd Lowrie were the year below. Also went to school with Cochise but we don't remember each other.

Aaron Woods lives in my suburb. Interestingly we both moved from Tiger territory to Dragons territory. The things you do for love!

Your dating a Dragon ?

No, my wife lived in St George area when we were engaged. Ended up out this way. I believe Woodsy moved here with his partner when he joined the Dogs.

When I was growing up in Balmain I lived about 10 doors away from Keith Barnes and Geoff Hawkey who were both living at the Munro's House (Munro was the scoreboard attendant in those days at Leichhardt).

I worked with Warren Boland years later at 2SM and also Frank Hyde was there for many years.

All were terrific blokes, up for chat etc. etc.
