Happy ,a bit of wishful thinking from my part with Tigers signing Merrin , like formerguest say's Merrin would be a signing we have been craving for.

I would definitely take SKD! He is a big upgrade on lawrence, and he's been playing great football this year, particularly in the finals and now in the tri nations
I'd take FPN too - he'd add some grunt to our forward pack. The key to this signing would be getting him at the right price, because he seems like the type that could easily under deliver
I am not at all interested in McQueen. I don't rate him at all. I know he's an origin player, but I would be very surprised if queensland picked him again next year. He couldn't even make the rabbitohs starting pack by the end of the year (albeit they had an awesome pack). I think people in the NRL fraternity are starting to catch on that mcqueen has been overrated the last couple of years

I'm with you steve-o , we have to try and make a serious play for Merrin . With the following players playing together for the next couple of years 1.Tedesco 2.Nofo 3.Simona 4.Seve 6.Moses 7.Brooks 8.Woods 9\. Farah 10.Lodge (has to be signed) 11.Blair (if signed)12.Sirro 13.Sue 14.Taupau15.Cherrington , we have to have a good year for players to be attracted to our Club and think we are a good squad with real success in the near future . That is how we are going to attract these Marquee signings i believe

Regardless of SKD' s perceived feet as hands etc, the sad fact is that he is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade on Chris Lawrence (who I really liked as a player and admire as a person) but due to the limited availability of quality, genuine centers, I would be all over him like a rash if there was a chance he would come over.
