I would've thought they'd give him a few weeks off after the WC.

Sounds keen tho & hope he has a great year.

seems weird theyve got 3 random players back.

Maybe because Tui is first choice fullback he needs to be there for combos etc

Shedding a few kgs wouldnt hurt either.

Theres been a fair bit of talk about Tui getting fit enough to play fullback. Shedding kg's has been said many times. I ask this…..how long do we give him to get fit? He's been signed by the tigers for what, 5 or 6 months now? Maybe its 4 months. Either way, thats plenty of time for a processional athlete to get into required shape. At this rate, he will be ripped and firing by 2020.

You mean apart from all the weight he has already lost - what do you guys want - a stick for a Full back?

No thanks …no more chicken leg Tedesco's who run the ball back like a wimp .

I don't think Lolohea is overweight , he's just stockie .
Watching him live he has blistering acceleration of the mark . I hope he's height doesn't affect him under a high ball if he plays fullback .

Take one look at his old man and you’ll soon work out why he doesn’t have chicken legs

One thing that will help him, he will have plenty players around him with plenty of grunt. Can’t see blokes like Suli,Fonua,Nofo and Milne getting rag dolled. We should have plenty of dirty yards in our outside backs

He put in plenty of big efforts after the 70 minute mark in WC games, his fitness looks good to me. He's not that much different now physically to what he was in 2015 when he came on the scene and played 23 first grade games (80 minutes in each), half of which were played at fullback. He's just got that body shape, he's never going to look ripped unless he's starving or enhancing himself.

Certainly his life would of been made easier playing off the back off Fifita , Taumalolo , Moa ,Taukieho , Ofengaehue , Tevita Jr , Manu Mau , Sika Manu and BMM

He played 5/8 for Tonga, not fullback
