Fresh twist in Tigers saga: Holmes should’ve been penalised for illegal kick-off

... not to mention the scrums - the North Queensland halfback was feeding the second row all afternoon and Robson‘s arm was loose and his feet were forever loitering the tunnel (which was a neat trick given he packs in at lock) 🥴

What a ripper. Well that's a line decision clear cut.

Also just watching the replays on NRL 360 and I feel Feldt should've also have been penalised for obstructing Kepoa.

Also, watching the referee after the short whistle he get coached by the bunker to look for Townsend ,kind of looking for a way to give it to the Cowboys .

Footnote;

Way back in 1980 Ron Giteau playing for the top of the table Magpies would routinely kick off short starting off from wrong side of half way and Rex Mossop RIP would continuously bring it up as he being offside. Never remember Wests being penalised but Rex would endlessly go on about it so it's not a new rule.
HAHA that's actually a good point. Feldt deviated more from his line away from the ball than Asu did.

C'mon west tigers hierarchy. Go for it, your supporters are bleeding and their pain is real, we have suffered this pain since 2006, and are feeling our club is letting us down, we were robbed plain and simple in this game, and dont feel you are going to fight for us, when there is so much evidence on our side even their own admission to referee error, so i would wish our club would stand up for us, and wish the nrl would show some integrity and change this decision, and not reward a team that cheated to win, that last play was a setup.

The fact he is in front of the line is pretty meaningless. Happens every week. But the fact Tamou explicitly asked to challenge and was denied is criminal.
Actually the ref said the offside was checked and cleared. He did not specify if that was Feldt or Holmes.

If you watch the tracker they used on 360 you can see Feldt sprint and then slow down so Kepoa can get into his line.

Feldt had no intention of contesting the ball. I firmly believe he was playing for a penalty.

Even without the collision with Kepoa there was no way he was getting to that ball on the full.

suck it up would appear to be the nrl s response to the wests tigers on so many injustices in the last minute of that game.
i dont want the club to relent and make as much a fuss as possible-it may result in nothing for the tigers but there may be a positive outcome.
if you have ever coached a sporting team and a parent complains about how you are disfavouring their son or daughter, your automatic reaction is to make amends.
the squeaky wheel makes the most sound and be the whinge and [This word has been automatically removed] club and watch the nrl be looking over the shoulders for the wests tigers and perhaps more favourable treatment.

I'm still getting over Ken's left foot being in front of the kicker which disallowed a try in the first game against Souths. Not seen a try scrutinized more closely from a kick this entire season.
Also the scrum penalty for letting the clock runout. I see it happen at least 3 or 4 times every round yet i know of only 1 team that has been penalised for it and then got ridiculed by the media for it.

Chuck in not checking Luciano‘s try in the Knights game, we had every excuse to bring these things up in a presser.

You really are stuck in the 70’s aren’t you?

This is supposed to be a billion dollar business run by spineless idiots.
How many times has a video ref gone right back to the start of play and check each element of the play.
In our case it should have gone something kike this,
Check if everone is onside including the kicker,
Check if escort actually impeded the run,
Was the attacker going to get to the ball and contest,
Was there an obvious move into the attacker by the escort,
Was the escort looking at the ball or the attacker.
I think we were innocent on all aspects, but no, let's go straight to the supposed escort and get it wrong......rubbish

Klown said that he cleared the Cowboys for being onside, like someone said his eyes must have been painted on.
