Fresh twist in Tigers saga: Holmes should’ve been penalised for illegal kick-off

Still can't believe we got penalized for taking too long to pack a scrum when we had the advantage of the scrum feed against the 'Riff in round 18.

I'm not even 100% sure if it was right because when I saw it I think that the ball had been fed and was back out of the scrum when the penalty was blown and for some reason the camera was fixated on Charlie Staines during a crucial part when I tried to review it.

We probably have no one to blame but ourselves for that one but you still can't help but wonder what rule, whether in the book or made up on the spot, are the NRL going to dig up next to disadvantage Wests Tigers.

Every obscure rule they can find will be used against us and probably nobody else.The NRL is as dodgy as Harold Park trots on a bad night.The North Korean/Russian government are probably at about the same level when it comes to honesty.

As I keep saying..we are talking about the NRL. For years they have been putting out fires by any means they can get their hands on. They never try to actually prevent fires from happening. They also know, no matter how big the drama is, there will be another one come along quickly to mask the previous one…and it keeps going on.

One of the advantages of running a monopoly dramas have little impact on your buissness as the vast majority of people just move on as there is no where else to go

That one made me wonder - what if the opposition stalls and forces the delay? I've never seen it policed and I've never bothered to think too hard about it.

Took Townsend 5 milliseconds to challenge.

You would think, one last gamble and down by 1 pt, you are better for a penalty than getting a kick back in possession then trying to score or drop-goal. Basically impossible to do the latter with no time left on the clock.

A rumour I heard is the NRL are seeking legal advice as they believe the audio won’t go down well for them and open up a strong legal case for us. It is also rumoured that Klein said to Butler “stall, stall, stall” prior to Butler then referring to the bunker.
