Im probably the furthest you can get from a Taylor Swift fan but I thought this cover by Paul Kelly was pretty good and it gave me an appreciation of her songwriting.

Was only asking this question yesterday. It’s not like she has just come out of nowhere, she has been making music for about 15 years. Sounds corny, but I think it’s hard work and marketing. Apparently she is in the recording studio every month releasing a new song, so she’s always in the public eye. Playing 4 consecutive sold out shows at ACCOR next week, which has never been done. I have heard people who don’t even have tickets are going, just to stand outside the stadium and listen, which is really going to piss me off, cos i’ll be there next Friday night at Qudos Bank seeing Blink, and its already going to be hell on earth with over 100k people in the precinct, but you also have to factor in idiots loitering without tickets.

. . . so the other day in the wonderful masthead that is the Daily Telegraph, they had a double page "poster" of the swiffy.
It was smack bang of her 'gina. The whole double page was of her thighs to her belly button. And the main subject was her 'giny. Her sequined, sparkling 'giny. Sparkly things hold my attention.
Even by my standards . . . as a bloke that doesn't mind a nice 'giny pic . . . this was a tad unacceptable, especially for a masthead.
Then in today's masthead I saw the top third of what you would cobble together to end up being a complete poster of swiffy.
Nothing to see here . . . well of course apart from the first day. hehe.
