Ah Toovey - he's sounding like another Sheens! :laughing: I think the problem with Georgie boy is he is a 'ham' and wants to be one of those cult hero type players, playing up to the crowd and what not. I can't see Sheensy wanting someone like that in the team, considering he got rid of a similar type personality in Fifita. Hence, this rumour is most probably crap.

Well we need someone why its left to the last minute to buy backup players like Rose and Cashmere is not something I understand.
Injuries are a part of football but somehow we must have thought we would be immune this year.
What does the recruitment guy do for 40hrs a week all these last minute signings shows a terrible lack of foresight.

As I said earlier Adam Cuthbertson was in a similar if not worse position a few years back - it is possible for lardos to get fit and be NRL standard if they want to do it.
