Let's be honest - he's no more than a run of the mill firstgrader - not a superstar.
It was sad to see him go because he loved the joint but he was becoming injury prone and gave away a lot of bonehead penalties.

Whatever. Gibbs is a much better tackler than Beetson ever dreamed of being, but the game has changed so much & the fitness level of a prop these days is beyond comparison so your argument is pointless . We have lost a very important junior that we have not successfully replaced.
As far as injury prone goes, Gibbs played with so much passion & needles he often played with problems other team mates took time off to repair. He is a champion & I to am very sad is has gone.
