Goals you've set yourself.

I'm hoping to have travelled to 100 countries by the age of 40\. I have 5 full years to go to make it and I am at 74 countries visited so far. I have a few new countries to do before the end of the year - Namibia, Poland, Ukraine, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina - so I'll reach 80 by the end of the year.

I travel a lot for work and for pleasure (I usually do around 25-30 countries per year) but it's getting really hard to add new countries because I have been to so many already that most of it is duplication. The wife is also pregnant with our first child so we have had to scale back the places we travelled to this year. We had to cancel a gorilla trek in Rwanda which is one I've wanted to do for a while.

Do the trek as a family, when the baba is older Tbone. It will be a wonderful experience.
My parents were always travelling with us kids in tow. It's the best global education you could give a child. Learning through living.

I've set a few, failed a couple, but really only have 1 main goal left, and 1 I'm considering.

Both my goals are upon retirement (5-10yrs) and they involve 2 great passions of mine. Food & Wine. The main goal is to relocate to either France or Spain, buy a farmhouse and grow Grapes for Wine or Olives for Oil.

The second is being retrained in Cookery (for free) by one of the icons of the cuisine. As a trained Chef through the Australian system and workplaces, it is clear we are well below the practices within Spanish or French Cuisine, plus having access to some of the great ingredients these regions can offer.

Sounds like a busy retirement, but as I've always told my people, Sleep is over Rated!

Sounds wonderful :stuck_out_tongue: and mouth watering.

Finish renovating my house - both inside, outside and the garden.
Get married & finish my sleeve ( tattoo'd arm ).
Visit my relatives in Lebanon that I've never met, visit my grandmother's grave.
Get a promotion at work - challenge myself.

You'll achieve all that and more Demps!

Most Goals in my life i have achieved them (that i really wanted) , my goals in life are simple:

# Being a good role model for my kids and to later on in life hear my kids when there Adults tell me how much they love me , like they do every Day now. To making sure they become good Citizens and no matter what life might throw at me that there Dad and Mum will always stand by them .

# i've been blessed to have the Job that i have and to know that saving lives is what i get paid to do well you can't ask for anything more than that , not always is it pleasant but it keeps reminding me what really matters most in my life .
Tigermama can relate to it.

# Seeing the Wests Tigers win a Premiership was something i always asked to witness before i leave this Earth but once you experience it ? I'm hooked and want to see more of it.

# Been to England and Watched Leeds United play and also experienced some big games at Old Trafford, Goodison Park and Elland Road and plan of doing more of it .

# Have travelled the World and plan to do it a lot more in the Future .

# My goals are simple but to some maybe boring .

i've honestly set a lot of goals.. i want to travel around europe and south america alone but don't have the money to do it yet and by the time i have enough, i'll be too old.

short term goal is to start investing smartly

got plenty more, but one of the main ones is to be the physio for a big sports team.
