Government owned Parra stadium

Looks like Parra stadium is to get a multi million $ upgrade …seeing the Eels do not own this stadium but the people of NSW do why can,t the Tigers play out of this ground for the foreseeable future.The wanderers and eels are the only tenants at the moment so I see no reason why this could not be our single home ground,looks like the money tree ANZ Is will be ceasing in the not to distant future as the state government is buy the lease out.
This option IMO would be a great solution for our club to put away the nomad senerio and at least have a home ground for a few years until some stability can be reached ,remember The Eels do not own this stadium and buy all accounts will be a state of the art facility.

I think this has to happen, have said as much a couple of times over different threads.

This should be looked at as a short term say 5 to 10 year lease while we build and make viable a 25 to 30k stadium of our own at Liverpool.

Taking the money on offer at ANZ until it runs out is the only option for now. 10 Games a year plus 1 each at LO & CSS.

It just doesn't sit well to play out of Parra stadium. Feels like we would lose some of our identity by doing so.

Parra Stadium no thanks , Balmain side of the joint venture moved there in the mid 90's and did not work.
We need our own Stadium for sure and only 1 ground.
If we relocated would many of you stop supporting the Wests Tigers ?

Central Coast Stadium hasn't got a home to anyone ? but then i'm not sure how fans will feel about a relocation .
It is very congested with Sydney teams there and the Corporate World getting more competitive .

I'd be playing all games at ANZ while they are throwing money about. If that stops and Parra is rebuilt then we'd be stupid not to play there.
What doesn't make sense about a western Sydney team playing in the best stadium in western Sydney?

My stadium theory is to make Parra a small training type ground with a 12k capacity. Eels or WSW could train there, Rams, Two Blues, Eels jnr reps home ground. Renovate Allianz to 80k, ANZ to 55k & build a new 35k stadium next to Nth Sydney Oval. Chooks, Bunnies, Tahs, SydFC can play there.
