Anyone else notice how after a win Mayer lives on twitter but since last week he hasn't tweeted anything? Loves the glory but…..

Mayer had a death in the family last week

We have no idea how immediate the family member was

I'm not Mayer's biggest fan , but he deserves to be cut some slack on this one

If this is true, it's amazing how people just to conclusions and will jump the negative without knowing the facts.

Even putting aside events of the past few weeks, Mayers performance as CEO hasn't been up to scratch. Problems with the jerseys, last chance for Cambo comment, Todesco contract debacle …... All handled very poorly. His people skills are not at the level the job requires .... No wonder Manly and C'bury didn't keep him.

You are dead set kidding yourself…
You have been bagging him since the moment he was announced as an employee - Long before he was CEO!!
How on earth is it his fault that a blades didn't print the "r" on the jersey?
How did he handle the Teddy situation poorly? - He offered him as best he could, They offered better... way better. He stuck to his guns - the outcome? Teddy is still here!!
He busted his arse and took big hits to pander the Campbelltown crowd... Again, Did exceptionally well there.

When he took over our Jersey and shorts were bare, A situation that has been steadily rectified through the season. Maybe he didn't handle the Farah / Potter situation as best he could... But I think all 3 would put there hand up there. Now on the back of that, He has personal issues to attend to...

Grab your torch and pitchfork and take your hunt elsewhere....

Problems with Jerseys - He sacked them as Jersey manufacturer for next year - Tick
Last Chance for Campbo - Got 15k at a game that would have otherwise attracted 7k - Tick
Tedesco contract debacle - Tedesco signs for 300k less then offered elsewhere - Tick

No wonder he has worked at an executive level at successive clubs like Manly and the Dogs

That last line is actually a bit laughable - he's been sacked from both jobs in very bad situations (same with GWS), all of whom snicker at the fact WT actually offered him a job.

The last chance at Campbelltown might have drawn 15k, but we LOST money hosting the game there! All very well and good, did those people turn up again? NO

The handling of the Tedesco situation, all done in public and the back pages of the paper might I add, was an embarrassment to our club. One of the club's best juniors called his bluff and walked away. And let me tell you, he's not staying for a cent less than Canberra were offering him, only that a third party saw this disgraceful situation happening and came in to make up the difference as a deal outside the cap. Can't see how that's a tick…..

He changed the jersey manufacturer and therefore he should keep his job? Please

The Ctown rant was inexcusable, especially when Leichhardt drew crowds of 5 and 7 thousand last yr, and 8 against the Titans 2 weeks after the Ctown game where he conveniently kept his mouth shut. I understand that they have to pay to play at Ctown which i agree is bs, and maybe what he said about Ctown was out of frustration cos of it, but nevertheless, the general public aren't the ones putting their hand out wanting money from them for playing there its the council, take it up with them like the professional you are suppose to be. Taking it out on a section of the supporter base that is already disgruntled, yet turning a blind eye to the other traditional home ground when they draw a poor crowd is poor form and gives people who are already disgruntled a fair enough reason to use as an example as to why they are right.

You got most of that right except Tedesco is staying for a considerable amount less than what Canberra offered.
It's inexcusable how Mayer and his side kick McDonnell treated Tedesco. They should be the first two shown the door.

Why? Tedesco agreed to leave then he changed his mind. Mayer wasn't even talking to Tedesco he was talking to his manager.

Why… have you been under a rock ?
Mayer and Mcdonnell didn't want Tedesco. They deliberately offered him less money for next year than what he is currently on. Robbie stated at the time he wasn't happy with management and that Tedesco should never have been made to feel he wasn't wanted.

Has Tedesco been signed by Wests Tigers has he ? Yes he changed his mind.. Refresh my memory How long is Tedesco signed for....I must have been asleep when the official announcement was made.
No surprise Mayer is still playing games.
