Wait till SOO
He will spark up, very unfortunately for us NSW Supporters
@WestsSupporter said:This season his support play has been woeful, not of NRL standard.
I've said it before - your captain is a guy you look to for inspiration - this slob only takes runs when someone else has put the team on the front foot.
And that field goal on fulltime when 2 points down just showed his mind is not there at all.

Spot on. Look up "front runner" in the dictionary and there would be a pic of big bad GI front and centre. He has played in dominant teams throughout his career, some of them outside the rules of our game, and the only time he has ever shone IMO is when his team has the opposition by the throat.
He was the worst player on the field in last years Aus vs NZ Test and whenever his side is on the back foot he is more inconspicuous than someone on witness protection. He has shown less heart in cover defence than lesser-hyped blokes who would of been spat on from the sideline if they had dogged it to that extent.
He nay well fire up again when he is part of the dominant QLD side but IMO he should change his "alias" to a meerkat instead of a goanna- an animal that senses threat and racks off down it's hole.
Immortal material- pfft give me a break.

So you would trade him for Teddy? I wouldn't.
@Fade To Black said:He would do nothing for our club. No good having a bloke waiting for a dominant forward pack to give him space and time, we don't have that.
Leaders and blokes who command utmost respect are ones that perform at their best even when they are getting beaten-Inglis is always amongst his teams' worst players when they lose. You only have to watch those games to see that.
Frontrunners are of no use to our club- we need blokes with fortitude who will show up and give their best no matter what.

Macksville is in Queensland? 😱pen_mouth:
He's always been like this. When he first moved to Souths he was dreadful at first and looked out of shape. He's always looked good in winning teams and not so great on struggling ones.
