I think Miller will be a future prospect, but not right now. We need someone until we can be confident with Miller.

Brett Finch could fill it while Miller developes

I'd be up for that. Finchy has been in a fair few setups and will probably have a lot to pass on.. hopefully not his thirst.

I'd be happy to see that setup King Sirro

Give Miller 6-10 games consecutively and then well finally know if he's good enough. No point keeping him year after year for 1-2 games a season. That's why the jury is still out on the kid.

AIDEN SEZER!!!! HOW HARD IS IT???

No Thanks… I'm looking for a Domestic Halfback if we need to get one!

Funnily enough, if Sheens had of bought Waters up 3 years ago, I wouldn't be surprised if we would've won 1-2 Premierships.

who-ever is picked to play halfback leave him there for the entire season, only changes if player gets injured.
the halves who ever they end up being need stability.

Along with Tamou, Carney, Peats, etc…
Are you serious, kid?

First off if you are saying Tamou and Carney are crap you are high secondly stop picking on everything i post.

Hard to understand a thing that you post. Need to do some homework on punctuation marks and sentences.

Jacob Miller…give the kid a crack...BUT stick with him for at least a dozen games wearing the 7, starting as 7, playing as 7 and given a bit of room to be a 7...

...or Trent Hodgkinson could be a smart and cheap buy. Our 7 needs to be disciplined and smart with the ball so Benj can do what he does best wider out

Well if we are not gonna give Miller a real crack next year , Bulldogs are gonna have to make a decision On Reynolds, Keating , Hodgkinson next year. So i think with the combination they have built with (Keating and Reynolds) this year while Hodgkinson been injured they might release him and can make a play for him maybe….

I just hope Miller gets a crack at it. Give him 10 games or so to see if he can cut it

what's the point in buying a player in when there's a decent prospect here

the only problem is whether Farah and Marshall let him control the game

Hopefully the new coach is not a puppet of the board and will put an end to this rubbish!

It'll take time before he can control the game in FG. Let's just hope he gets a crack.

that's the other thing

if a so called 'player revolt' (probably Marshall and Farah) was enough to convince the board to force Sheens out, then how is the new coach going to gain any authority to make changes?

Will it just be the players calling the shots all over again?

After looking at today's matches, I now believe we have several options for halfback without having to go out and buy one. Miller, Humble and Chisholm are all good players waiting in the wings for a rational coach, who will develop them, use them correctly and give them a decent chance to cement a first grade spot.

After the NYC game Braith Anasta interviewed Jacob Miller and Braith made a comment about Miller going to Hull next year. Jacob replied that it may not be the case.

No Sheens, Miller staying?

coud you see the exact minute when Anasta thought 'what's happened to my promise of playing in the halves???'
