I wonder if they plan on giving Simpkin a go before liddle?

I have seen both Simpkins and Harry Grant and at the same age Simpkin is the better prospect. Better running game and passing game is close. Grant has been learning in the Storm System and is three years further in his progression. He will be ready to dominate first grade in 2022. If we can get Harry for a one year extension and it benefits both the Storm and us it’s a big win.

There’s no guarantees with young players but his biggest issue will be physicality Harry has built up and solid as an rock.

In the meantime we have Liddle and he will be so good Simpkins won't get a turn.

Nice position to be in.

It is. I’d take Harry any day over both of them as he’s proven he’s world class the other two are still potential which more often than not tends to be not fulfilled

Disagree Chief.

If Grant goes back to Storm (pretty sure he will myself).

Liddle during his 37 games has proved to me that he "Has it"

Simpkins to me has proven nothing, hasn't played 1 game yet.

Harry will go back to the Storm...unfortunately ...but we knew the deal from the start...
Liddle has shown so much in a career full of injury and I cant trust him to stay on the park so we can have a stable spine with him as the main dummy half..2 games brilliant and next few months off with injury, then its reshuffle again.Simpkin has shown huge potential but we also seen that in Brooks and he hasnt quite produced because of the chopping and changing of coaches since his debut, the brilliance is there but he has to start showing it ASAP..

Time will tell. Simpkin has much better pedigree. Liddle May have had a few runs and done well at the regional races but I’d back the rookie who will be a group 1 with the right trainer which Madge is. I like Liddle has talent hammered by injury. We have good depth at hooker.

no-way the tigers wont have a crack to keep Harry, if it happen it happens.
Hope he stays if not we have options

Are you keeping up TYGA.

Pedigree means nothing, you have to prove yourself. Everyone has potential, few live up to it.

Liddle has made more than a few runs on a regional track my friend. 37 runs in the NRL.

There's over 100 rookies at Randwick that think they are a group 1 chance.

Good luck with finding the 1 or 2 that make it there, you'll lose your strides and end up walking home.

I have begun to develop a hatred for those players that have left Tigers. For example, Tedesco, Moses, etc. but Harry Grant, he'll be a favorite no matter what team

Currently Simpkin is of course a backup option. If

:::

Harry goes he is still a backup option. Liddle due to injury is a backup/hopeful option also. So yeah I would be chasing a hooker for sure.

That’s cos he’s not really ours to begin with. We’ve always been under the impression he’s going back anyway, so it’s hard to develop an attachment.

To me, it's not that they left the Club but is the drama that accompanied the departures. Grant carries himself well. We know he will go back to the Storm but he will do so having won over supporters and the Club due to his on and offield performances.

Was thinking that we could maybe sign Cameron Smith just for next year than we will have Liddle and Sympkim ready for 2022 just mainly want a good goal kicker and he's one of the best

Wouldn't that upset the forum if Camo signed for WT.

Would mean a gap year as a supporter for me.

Edit; As for Harry, simply enjoying him filling our injury void and expecting Liddle to be our main nine next season.

Dogs are making a big play for grant something like what they did to Mitchell

Isn't he locked up at the storm for 3 years after this year?

Surely they can't make any play until Nov 2022

Doesnt matter who took out Liddle......he has proved he is injury prone and that is the question mark hanging over his head mate...

Liddle is the brett papworth or bruce reid of hookers he isna fine player but not durable and injury prone. if he stays on the field a full season then he may be great but dont think we can risk it.
If we do lose Harry (dont think we will) then we tey and hold Simpkin and blood him with Walters and let Liddle take up a position at the dogs.
Dogs will come hard for Harry now that McCullough is injured again.
