I picked this up a couple of weeks ago. It was trade search australia. They are a company that has tradies provide quotes to households on renovations etc. I just went to their website and it says they are launching in 50 days. Perhaps the sponsorship was too early…..

I actually spoke to the owner a while back and they were supposed to be launching like 8 weeks ago. I expect they had issues with the site after launch and are pretending like nothing happened.

Another flash in the pan dotcom startup didn't pay it's bills. What a surprise. Companies trying to start internet service directories now are trying to get on a ship that sailed in the late 90s.

Unless tradesearch has some untried new idea, I don't think you'll hear from them in 12 months time. ByronBay's story of them hassling anyone who submits a DA is a new one on me though.
