The new recommendation is to reduce the gap to 6 weeks which comes up in about 2 weeks. I'm considering whether or not to reduce the gap. I had an off day after the jab but it wasn't too bad at all.
Getting my second AZ jab tomorrow, three weeks early (9 weeks after 1st). Got an email last night from my GP recommending early 2nd dose, so I am doing it.

Same here. My Dr has advised me not to get AZ. As I'm 62 I'm not eligible for Pfizer.
I would happily get Pfizer now, or AZ if the Dr said it was OK. It's not very reassuring that I can't get vaccinated when I live in a 'hot-zone'.
I've emailed him today to see if any of the recent changes to policy may change his views.

I was lethargic and had no energy at all for like 2 days with headaches
My wife is a nurse and about 30 of her colleagues couldn't attend next shift following the second vaccination.
However I know others who have had it and fine they say 50 % can have mild issues but if what I felt is even a little bit of covid then I am glad I have had the vaccination
I dont want to deter anyone from getting the vaccination though as I was only really tired and sick for 2 days then all good

My work has advised it MAY become mandatory however waiting on the advice from government.
Work in mental health / community services.
I'm not an anti vaxer, never had a flu shot though and rarely get sick.
I'd be happy to roll the dice and go without but if I don't have a choice, then I'll have to be getting it..

Keep a close eye on yourself the next 3 weeks, any unusual pains in body go straight to Doctor

I have heard that the 2 vaccines are different. AZ it is the first that will knock you arounf a bit, Pfizer it is the 2nd.
