A worst first half refereeing performance?

Shayne Hayne is a disgrace to the game.

18 points to Manly as a direct result of this clown.

No try to Nofo =6 points
Manly score next set =12 points
Manly score on halftime when they shouldnt have had the ball due to Siro being tackled in the air =18 point turnaround due to the ref. I havent seen anything like it.

You dont often hear commentators saying a side is getting a raw deal but Freddy said it numerous times, not just once.

Yes the same old embarrassing mistakes by us, but we deserve a fair go.

It's total BS!

Bad calls happen in every game, but what I can't understand is why Hayne didn't go upstairs on the Nofa try???

They go to the video ref for nearly every try these days! Also, the video ref should have stepped in and told Hayne to have a look. A bit of common sense wouldn't go astray.

I would like to have seen what the game would be like without Hayne or Shortall for that matter missing key incidents… Cherry Evans sticking his leg out to trip Austin.. Set later they score
Sirro tackled in mid air... Next set they score.
These things have killed us! But in saying this we can't defend to save our own lives.

If that was a manly player scoring it would have been given a try straight away or sent to video.

You know what…that is the disturbing part because it is absolutely true! I really don't know what our club has done to deserve the barrage of bad calls that have been served up to them in the majority of games this season. It's a forgone conclusion, in every game now, that we will be heavily penalised and have most of the bad calls go against us, but tonight the bias was just so incredibly blatant. I really can't watch anymore.

I try not to have a blinkered point of view and look at the 50/50 calls with an open mind but this was awful. When asked to review the Nofo try Hayne was just arrogant and when Siro questioned the mid air tackle got exactly the same response. On both occasions within a few more tackles we concede a try.Im not saying that had both decisions gone our way we would have won but any chance we had was gone.Hayne should be not allowed to referee again this year..

Our position on the ladder probably has a lot to do with it. You'll find when a team at the top of the ladder plays a team well down the ladder, more often than not the lower team gets raped like we did tonight. No excuse though, some of those calls were deadest disgraceful. The Noffa no try for example. Almost like Haynes ego wouldn't allow him to change his mind and double check it upstairs. Totally disgraceful. We're a battling side, we're up against it as it is without having to put up with crap like that as well. It kills us, we're not good enough to shake off those kinds of calls.

That was the worse I have seen in a long time. Still its not the reason we lost and I'd rather cop it in a game we were going to lose than a close game.

Shane Hayne, hide your face in shame. All we need was a fair game, but you assisted in the slaughter. The West Tigers never had a fair go, neither did the players. Give a thought to Potter, who was trying to make a name for himself. What about the coaches and the instructors? It was Potter's job you were playing with last night. So many millions were watching how you refereed the game, it wasn't a good look for the NRL was it? I didn't think the WT would have won the game last night, but you never gave them a chance, did you?

Dont mean to be rude but we have been seeing this for years now..
We have just about played an extra player, the ref in most games since 2000

I wonder if Tim Sheens association has anything to do with this.
He coached over 500 games, you make a lot of enemies over the years, what if the refs have a payback. (some refs)
