Hayne plane

If he wants to stay in the NRL would take him short term (2 years max) dependant on what we pay (no more than 500k).

Outside those terms I would look elsewhere.

Would your preference be to take him, or Jennings?

Id get hayne in a heart beat. Do you see his last half a dozen games last year? There best by a mile.

He would add pace and size to our backline.

Yes I saw his games when he was looking for a contract. Dont be fooled this guy is a cancer that we dont need!

Is there a cancer that anyone needs?

No especially when it is called Jarryd Lee Hayne

Neither thanks.

We have lost simona, suli and Kev from the centres and have picked up Momirovski who is potentially good but still untested. We need a centre real bad BUT not Hayne.
What about the ISP fullback from last season - is he a potential centre option??

If you are going back as far as Simona, you can add Taane Milne to that list. I was sure he was going to tick that box.

Yes - I forgot him

If he comes - It HAS to be for Fullback. I don't think he's worth the money if you remotely consider playing him elsewhere.

Remembering Mbye has a lot of experience playing in the Halves.

I would be going 1\. Hayne 6\. Mbye 7\. Brooks 9\. Farah - 14\. Reynolds

Why does everyone push the Fullback? You have wingers like Addo-carr who score every time they are near the line.
Ingles and Hayne were most deadly on the wing, both are

I wish we could swap Hayne for Mbye. I just keep looking at Mbye thinking why did we do it.
Cmon we had the dogs, we should have pushed for Hopoate. LAST thing we need is Mbye in the halves to re-create the winning spoon combo of Reynolds and Mbye…

But, for my money. Hayne on the wing unless moving him to Fullback pushes Mbye to the bench (IMHO his best spot).

He scored 10 tries in 15 games for a team that won the wooden spoon. That's more than anyone in our team. He also had more tackle breaks than anyone in our team with the exception of Nofoaluma (77 vs 71). He was really good late in the season.

Hating him for who he is is absolutely fine, but he literally moonwalks into our backline. It's no secret we lack spark in our backline and he adds spark whilst solving our centre issue quite nicely. For the right price I think he'd improve our team materially.

Yes, for the right price he would be awesome. He is though doing it to get good coin out of Parra, he won't come here unless he gets a really sweet deal…. Aka wrong money.

We need a back. We seem to have:
Nofo
Marsters
Mbye
Fonua?
Thompson.

**PAUL MOMIROVSKI**

We definitely need a Utility back. Last year we used 3 reserves in the backs and had to use them. We really were winning early in the season when we plugged our defensive gaps and Nofo/Fonua/mbye are the biggest ?'s Then again Nofo is good at going over the line and hopefully McGuire can bring something out of Fonua.

Otherwise would be glad to play Thompson out of position in the Centers (or move Mbye there) and Hayne on our wing.

Why is he not included?

He's an untested, fringe first grader and we have too many fringe players already. As a depth player and future first grader, absolutely, but we don't have the depth currently to experiment with a rookie imo.

Disagree Avo but that is not what I am saying - you have a list that included Fonua - If Momirovski is not better than him I'll walk to Burke. He has played pretty well in the games I have seen and that finals game was not a breeze. Plus he doesn't go missing in games, miss heaps of tackles and give cheap penalties away - Oh! plus he doesn't have brain explosions.

Respect your opinion though, just think that if you were not going to put Momirovski in, then you should take Fonua out - he is a dud.

I wouldn't have Fonua in either Russ, I think he started off well but completely lost it the longer the season went on. He makes far too many errors. I was a huge fan of his early in the season but i've done a complete 180\. IF we were to get Hayne, and it's a big if, my backline would be:

1\. Mbye
2\. Nofo
3\. Marsters
4\. Hayne
5\. Thompson

Untested?
First pick by roosters behind two international centres.
Performed well every time first grade assignment.
Highly thought of by the Roosters management.
Great pick up that is a definite starter for us next year.

I think he would add that touch of experience and versatility to our backline that we really need.
If he is committed and trains well I would give him a contract that is not too unreasonably high.

Yes, untested. He's played 2 NRL games.

Let's not put too much pressure on Momo…. We saw what happened the last time we talked a player up way beyond his capabilities ie; Gamble.

Just let him develop... He has a long way to go

is that the same situation for Garner as well?

I know that Hayne is a massive risk but that backline looks heaps better. At full strength we only really lack a player like Hayne. That centre position is the worst position as well so if you fix that position and get a top level player there we improve as a team a fair bit.

It looks better to you because you imagine Hayne playing at close to his best, what about the majority of games where he couldnt care less and plays accordingly,Lazy trainer who only cares about himself
