HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

My point being - that the achievements (and failures) of footy clubs we can all list, but differentiating that from the achievements of the owners of those footy clubs is just guess work (to all of us on the outside of these organisations).

For example - I listed the Centre of Excellence as a HBG achievement, but I’m sure some will say it was down to Pascoe. On the other hand, some will blame HBG for certain players signed and lost (ie strength of squad at any given time), whereas that clearly lies at the feet of the football club.

Is the great premiership drought at the Eels, a failure of the owners, Parramatta Leagues Club Ltd, or is it more directly attributable to decisions made by the Parramatta RLFC?

I was simply saying while most would struggle to list achievements directly attributed to HBG at our club, most would also struggle to list achievements directly attributable to the owners of other NRL clubs.

There you go, thats a better reply

Pretty sure that HBG didn't directly hire most of the coaches in their time in control. They had a CEO & board at Wests Tigers in place. Pretty sure the CEO, coach & board were responsible for player signings too.

But they are held responsible for firing them. And I guess they could be blamed for Jason Taylor because we have to blame someone for that.

None of these hirings had any effect on team performance, clearly. Only their sackings.

Which HBG did.

I'm starting to understand.

All the good stuff was regardless of HBG.

Catch up Man.

Do are the CEO, Football club and board accountable to?
Who has the power to sack all of them?
Who is responsible if they remain in their roles whilst underperforming?
