Yep, spot on. That's the obvious disconnect in the CEO's statement. WT Board guilty of poor communication yet Burgess is the common thread between the WT Board and the HBG Board. That's clearly BS.

NRL 'own' and control the club branding/trademarks IIRC?
 
If this sees Richo leave then the NRL must get involved and ensure a major change occurs at an ownership level or the license is revoked.

HBG yet again have shown their cards, they are totally incompetent - something doesn’t go their way and they punt people - so much for independence & integrity.

Such coward’s closing down comments to their announcement whilst also mentioning Unity & Stability - they clearly don’t even know what the words mean.

I think the Rugby League world has surely reached saturation with Wests Tigers fatigue by now.
Drama after drama after scandal after spoon after drama….it never stops.

They can then do whatever they like with sale price and West Ashfield's income.

Yes, there is a bit of doom and gloom - but it is to be expected given the events of this afternoon. There will always be those that will stick with it; hard times make the end result more worthwhile. Miserable while we are going through it but we come through it eventually. This is just another obstacle on the road that needs to be dealt with.

People survived world wars, potato famines and the depression. I think we can get through a couple of lean years supporting a sports team!

I have a theory the NRL make most of their money by us being a laughing stock

I mean what would 360, 100% Footy, Matty Johns, Triple MMM, Buzz, Richie, Pubehead Weidler er=tc etc talk about if there were no WTs

I think the only way is for the NRL to step in.
Ashfield wont sell, they love their blazers too much......gives them an ego and power trip like a Facebook Local community Group moderator

Im quite disgusted these amateurs are operating under the names of two of our former clubs greats, one of which presented me with the only footy trophy I got as a kid
