This, if all the HBG and Wests Tigers board meeting minutes could be released, there's no speculation anymore. Everyone would know exactly what happened and why.Release the minutes…

It's entirely possible. If you look at how PVL runs the comp, it becomes pretty clear that his main priority is keeping the broadcasters and the first grade clubs happy. If the broadcasters are happy, the money keeps rolling, which funds the annual grant to franchise owners, which means they don't have to kick in their own cash. Everyone with any real power is thus content, PVL keeps his job and News Corp write him up like he's a genius.I wonder if Denis ran all this past PVL before acting. Surely if I was PVL I would be spewing chips at Denis?
Unless he counts Denis as an Ally or something?
But board meeting minutes in Australia are generally confidential, treated as sensitive internal records for directors, but they aren't absolutely secret and can become discoverable in court or investigations, especially if they contain legal advice (which might be privileged) or are needed to prove directors met their duties. This, if all the HBG and Wests Tigers board meeting minutes could be released, there's no speculation anymore. We all want HBG gone but my biggest concern is our players, we just started to turn the corner and don't want the instability to cause rumblings and possible departures. It could also publicly shine a light on HBG over their conduct and dysfunction..,and at least get them to pull their heads in over how they act in the future …
Look … I’ll leave it at that … it’s likely that no legal issues take place from the fired board members in any event…
Tl;dr: until someone comes in and buys the licence off HBG this isn't going to change. No external agent is going to come in and force HBG to run the joint professionally.
Our best are gone with these owners, it’s Groundhog Day.We all want HBG gone but my biggest concern is our players, we just started to turn the corner and don't want the instability to cause rumblings and possible departures.
We have all seen this before, a horror movie.

Not with that attitudeI don’t think HBG is going anywhere …
Pure & simple this whole situation has been caused by a bloc of HBG debenture holders (probably no more than 8) led by Burgess, Montgomery & Tropiano who have plotted the past 18-24 months to reach the situation today. It could also publicly shine a light on HBG over their conduct and dysfunction..,and at least get them to pull their heads in over how they act in the future …

Members can't generally access director minutes, but minutes of general member meetings are accessible, so careful handling, strong security, clear protocols for privileged content, and legal advice are crucial to protect sensitive info.
I can't see inside info being released to us fan, ever.

The removal of these fwits & a change in the governance of HBG is 1 of 3 solutions along with our NRL license being revoked or the NRL stepping in to change the governance of the WT with a majority of independent directors & no overarching power for HBG.

Neither do I but hopefully someone can limit their power to the point that they can't meddle with board members, their track record suggests they aren't smart enough to get it right.I don’t think HBG is going anywhere …
We don’t know what’s been happening at that level the past 5 days. Hoping a favourable announcement comes out of the blue as often it does.Yes mate … I’m here hanging out as much as anyone and am aware of the issues …
Apparently no one that matters in the Govt or NRL have an issue with how HBG is run ?
What if our players joined us in the march? Maybe they can refuse to play any matches unless the four independents are reinstated and Richo keeps his job. That would make the NRL act as it would impact their product and cause rumblings with the broadcasters. We all want HBG gone but my biggest concern is our players, we just started to turn the corner and don't want the instability to cause rumblings and possible departures.

Keep the pressure on the bastards. We pay their bills.Yes mate … I’m here hanging out as much as anyone and am aware of the issues …
